Today on MM via Hanz, descent to Šitna glava. Conditions excellent, heat has eased. No issues at the start now. But one remark on markings: in upper part (about 200 m to top) markings faded, few of them, so need to search passages in broken terrain - can be trouble for first-timer or poor visibility. Plenty of snow on path to VM - recommend ice axe.

Yeah yesterday I met one Carinthian and two Italians - we all came from Beli Vodi. Path nice, scenic, for me the most annoying part from ca 1350 m to Jezersko Saddle. Otherwise incredible views.

Today to Jerebica from Jezerska dolina. Path without issues, no snow, but very hot. How it'll be tomorrow.

On Thursday I walked part of the border ridge from Vošca over Blekova planina to Trupejevo poldne. The ridge path wonderful, well trodden, minor issue fallen spruces - but no problem.

Today to VRP, namely up the climbing route, down the normal. Path OK, but watch scree on slabs. From ferrata junction there are two snowfields - first shorter and bypassable, second a bit longer before ferrata start. At least for the second it's good to have an ice axe, because if it sweeps you...

For me Aljaževa is a bit easy, Mojstrana Squirrels via ferrata but on some parts too hard. If there were no loose cables it would be easier for me, but on real via ferratas cables are loose - on one side looseness reduces jerk on fall, on other side looseness increases difficulty (cables on via ferratas should be for belaying not pulling like on our climbing paths).

Today from Ravenska Kočna to Vadine and via climbing path to Velika Baba. Path fine, lots of scree on the path after winter. Didn't need ice axe, but at this time it's wise to
always have it with you. Rudi's vertical dragged on a lot. Weather wonderful.

What do you think, could one go to Velika Baba from Ledin via Rudijeva vertikala with an ice axe (probably snow on the notch between Baba and Ledinski vrh), descend towards Jenkova planina?

Today from Ljubelj to Palec and Zelenjak. Conditions excellent. Still plenty of snow, so ice axe needed for Palec. Need to cross gully with steep runout below. To Zelenjak possible on foot, but snow on approach to notch too. Oh yeah, forgot: new stamps on both summits.

This variant is pleasant for the next few days.

Today circular route: Valvazor - Zabreška - Stol - Žirovniška - Valvazor. Conditions OK. I recommend this circular route these days, as on descent I walked on snow up to cca 1750 m (a bit above Prižnica). So the descent is very fast.

Yesterday I talked to locals at Belca. They say the state is preparing for slope rehabilitation (blasting) and works are planned to open the road to the ramp. The flood carried away one bridge. For now the path from Belca is not recommended and a warning sign is posted. Hope we will go to Kepa from Belca again sometime.

Today from Jasna to Ciprnik and then to Visoka peč. Path without problems and dry. I'd just mention that on the descent from Ciprnik towards Visoka peč there's a fallen spruce. First I climbed over it, on the way back under it. It's doable, but you might get a bit scratched. Otherwise the path is fine, not like marked ones, but everyone can expect that from unmarked paths.
