Last weekend we were at Korošica. More about it:

Conditions are completely winter. Without ice axe, crampons, helmet and knowledge you have nothing to do there. To Korošica I recommend skis or snowshoes. For ascent to Ojstrica take the path past Kocbek hut and not via Mala Ojstrica.

On Saturday to Duranno. Very nice mountaineering tour. The mountain got its first visit this year the day before. That day three couples on the summit. Recommend 2 x 60 m ropes. Also ok e.g. with one 50 m, but for rappelling comfort better two - fewer descents.
One snow patch still on path, but bypassable below (scree, slip risk on snow or scree).
Recommend also weather like this weekend. There is some drive, so pity to turn back at uncertain forecast. Summit views phenomenal, so wouldn't push up in fog.

Snow starts already before pl. At the lake there is still quite a bit - even several meters. Higher only more. Štapci are dry though, where the chain is. At double lake and down the valley still huge snow, so I think the hut will open later this year.
