We went as a family to Brač to get to know it a bit differently. For starters, we walked four stages, more information about the entire trail at Camino Brač.
For the walked stages I can say they mostly follow gravel roads, some on main asphalt roads, very little on forest paths. Trail markers are mostly on the ground in the stage direction, since we also walked some stages in the opposite direction, orientation was more challenging. I recommend downloading the GPS track of the entire trail. We didn't spot any directional signs anywhere, nor info panels of the entire trail in larger towns.
All trail stamps are located in TICs in the towns, which are mostly open on weekdays from 9 to 14, so Milna has its own, Bol has Blaca, Zlatni rat and Bol, Sumartin has Povlja, Sumartin and Selca, and Sutivan has its own.
The entire trail goes from town to town and thus you get to know many interesting places and other attractions along the way.
We handled logistics ourselves, so we took a bike along to return to the hike's starting point to get the car.
We walked about half of the trail out of total 158 km, the rest next time, because if you start something, you have to finish it!

City of ill-fated love, city of bridges, city of bell towers and city of volleyball, currently one of the best in the world, of which our Rok and Uroš are also part.
If I put it in mountaineering terms they are more Kobancas than Pohorcas, one is even a real Slovene, the other had to stay home when we headed to the top of our homeland, because he didn't want to do the preparatory training.
The Maribor guy and the Hoče guy won everything in their home clubs in junior categories, then they joined forces together in Maribor and after many years returned the title to Maribor. Then they went abroad each their own way and this year they ended up together again in Verona, where the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games took place, unfortunately we couldn't enter the arena because of that, another reason to return.
If you're heading to the mountains near Verona take some time to see the city, which hides many things ...

Yesterday via route Vrata - Sovatna - Turn pod Stenarjem - Spodnji Stenar - Stenar - Križ - Bovški Gamsovec - Luknja - Vrata.
Path to Turn pod Stenarjem roughly as in the above post. The most demanding is the steep descent on grass, maybe this shoulder could even be bypassed on the right side, as I saw from afar from both sides. Now which is the main peak is hard to say, because it shows me height 2177 m, so we visited all the peaks.
The continuation is nice climbing to Spodnji Stenar. Then we also visited some marked peaks, as it was a beautiful day for hiking and views.
If in the morning the parking lot around 6 o'clock was already almost completely full, there were few people on the marked paths, and on the first two peaks we of course enjoyed the solitude.

Today as a family from Weinebene pass along the ridge to the summit and return under the ridge past Grillitschhütte hut.
It was a nice day without much crowd, currently the main color is red.

Nice Tone, the Slovenian forecast held better than the Norwegian one.

I think you've already said everything about this exceptional ridge. Yesterday I surrendered to the guidance and thus could, without thinking about all the technical and orientation difficulties, peacefully enjoy an unforgettable day.

... that's exactly what I thought when I saw all those who went to sleep in the huts around Triglav today

Yesterday and today, my younger son and I set off into the Triglav kingdom.
Already upon arrival in Krrma, I was surprised by the crowd of cars, some had tickets today because they parked on the grass. Well, the crowd was everywhere, on the road, on the path, in the huts, on the top.
The nicest was walking on the path from Prgarca to Staničev dom, where only marmots and cows kept us company. After an interesting sunset, we also greet the sun in the morning and have breakfast in the crowd at Kredarica. To Mali Triglav we also find some solitude for a photo, but at the top in line for the obligatory souvenir shot.
We descend towards Planika and back to Krrma, where a helicopter was circling.
Weather ideal for hiking, some wind, but not too much, later I find out that desert sand spoiled the better views.
And a bit about the prices in the huts, at Stanič ričet and beans with meat 14 € and you get bread with it, štruklji 14 €, apple strudel 7 €, at Planika goulash 18 € (4 pieces of meat) and Carniolan sausage 14 €, both without bread, piece of bread 1 €, house dessert (grmada and panna cotta) 8 €, at both huts isotonic 7.5 € ... the experience with my son is priceless.

I know well how it is, since my continuation is also waiting: sometimes there's no time, other times the weather doesn't cooperate, the third time you'd rather go somewhere else in the mountains... Then there are family obligations, when you think that in summer there will be the most time, that's when the children need you the most...
The trail will wait, our time will still come, and good luck to all on the SPP!

A promise makes a debt.
This time during family holidays I explored a bit on foot and a bit by bike. First I went to Čunski by bike and there are quite a few markings along the road, of course the next day together with my younger son I also checked by the sea stage 9. I didn't see Žiga neither by the road nor by the sea. To Camp Poljana no problems, then all the way to bay Za Osirom it's really a hard rocky coastal path, if it's a path, markings are still visible, in one part repainted with red paint. In my opinion they moved the path because of difficulty, as in Čunski I see no problem regarding access to the coast.
With a friend we also walked stage 10, if you start early you're mostly in shade, probably one of the nicer ones, because mostly by the sea, only minor uncertainty with markings is between bays Sunfarni and Krivica.
To Mrtvaško I went only by bike this time, quite some elevation gain, because younger son said next year he would also do the last stage and of course by boat to Ilovik.

On the last day of our short break we climbed in the cool of Martuljek to the upper waterfall.
On arrival in the hot valley we refreshed ourselves in the Sava Dolinka before heading home.

Although in our STKP booklet there is no Aljažev dom stamp from Vrata, on the second day of our family vacation we dedicated ourselves to the last part of stage 5, which was later added to the entire STKP route.
From Gozd Martuljek to Vrata and back we accumulated approx. 40 km, including a 25% climb in Vrata, which is steeper by bike than by car, but the youngest still enjoyed it, as he likes cycling.

We went as a family for three days to Gozd Martuljek.
The youngest wanted Mangart via the Slovenian path for the first day, but unfortunately it was canceled due to a fire, so we got to know Mežakla a bit.
In the village of Kočna we left the bikes, so that at the end we could ride them back to the starting point.
Interesting path, suitable for everyone, I also recommend the ascent to the top of Obranca, which is a bit off the path, but offers beautiful views.
