The Maribor guy and the Hoče guy won everything in their home clubs in junior categories, then they joined forces together in Maribor and after many years returned the title to Maribor. Then they went abroad each their own way and this year they ended up together again in Verona, where the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games took place, unfortunately we couldn't enter the arena because of that, another reason to return.
If you're heading to the mountains near Verona take some time to see the city, which hides many things ...

My better half invited me to the sea and I could choose one day what to do.
So we explored NP Krka from Knin downwards on the first day, at that time the ticket is 7 €.
The next two days by the sea, up and down Vodice.

Puppeteers?

Today I also head uphill opposite the bus stop.
If it weren't for your posts, I probably never would have trudged through the forest here.
So first Mešenik and then further along the ridge, first also to Špegarca, to Kamniški Dedec.
Probably everyone chooses the ascent to the ridge a bit in their own way, I went more to the left and didn't climb anything to the ridge. On the ridge, everyone searches for easier passages according to their own feeling.
Interesting day, without a cloud and without company the whole way.

We spent the weekend with my better half in Rovinj and surroundings.
On the first day we stopped in Pazin along the way and stretched our legs a bit, but we already admired the sunset by the sea. On the second day I got up before the sun and accompanied it into the new day, then we walked all day from Zlatni Rt through Rovinj to the Amarin settlement. Back to Rovinj we went by boat for 5 € per person. On the third day on the way home we stopped in the Vela Draga canyon and for coffee in Opatija. Interesting canyon, unfortunately there was no water and consequently no waterfall. The road inside before the Učka tunnel is already arranged, on the sea side works are still ongoing and there are short traffic jams.
Weather warm, from sunshine to clouds, rain only on the drive home.

Today I also took a stroll along this ridge, short but sweet.

Bivak Dobre volje below Rzenik.

Yesterday I took a slightly longer approach to the plateau.
I parked below the gondola and first went to Pl. Dol, then turned onto the hunting path to the bivouac, just before the bivouac snow appeared. The continuation to Pl. Rzenik was under snow, sometimes it broke through to the knees, gaiters recommended, because there were no tracks, orientation was more demanding. To the top of Konj there was some snow, which didn't pose major problems. I descended to Pl. Dol, where it was very lively, I haven't met so many people on this plateau before. I quickly continued to Velika Planina, where I made one big loop around the pastures, due to the crowd at the huts I abandoned the idea of a warm snack and hurried to the highest point, where I chose a comfortable descent. If I got a seat on the chairlift right away, I waited about 30 min for a standing spot in the gondola.
After the morning cloudiness, it turned into quite a nice day, occasionally disturbed by the wind.

Yesterday with a friend we did a circular hike, inspired by the first post on this page.
For the starting point I chose the parking lot at the junction to Divača airport, where the path crosses the main road. Then along the SPP path to the summit and descent towards Gornje Ležeče, along the asphalt road only to the junction of the gravel road that leads to the village of Dolnje Vreme (this way we avoided the path closure or crossing the railway) and then to Vremski Britof, where we refreshed ourselves, as a chamois was inviting us. A pleasant path followed along the gorge of the Reka River, Školj Castle is being renovated, to the Škocjan Caves. Then just the conclusion through the village of Gradišče pri Divači to the car.
For the end of the tour, on the way home we treated ourselves to an Easter barbecue.
