We went as a family to Brač to get to know it a bit differently. For starters, we walked four stages, more information about the entire trail at Camino Brač.
For the walked stages I can say they mostly follow gravel roads, some on main asphalt roads, very little on forest paths. Trail markers are mostly on the ground in the stage direction, since we also walked some stages in the opposite direction, orientation was more challenging. I recommend downloading the GPS track of the entire trail. We didn't spot any directional signs anywhere, nor info panels of the entire trail in larger towns.
All trail stamps are located in TICs in the towns, which are mostly open on weekdays from 9 to 14, so Milna has its own, Bol has Blaca, Zlatni rat and Bol, Sumartin has Povlja, Sumartin and Selca, and Sutivan has its own.
The entire trail goes from town to town and thus you get to know many interesting places and other attractions along the way.
We handled logistics ourselves, so we took a bike along to return to the hike's starting point to get the car.
We walked about half of the trail out of total 158 km, the rest next time, because if you start something, you have to finish it!

City of ill-fated love, city of bridges, city of bell towers and city of volleyball, currently one of the best in the world, of which our Rok and Uroš are also part.
If I put it in mountaineering terms they are more Kobancas than Pohorcas, one is even a real Slovene, the other had to stay home when we headed to the top of our homeland, because he didn't want to do the preparatory training.
The Maribor guy and the Hoče guy won everything in their home clubs in junior categories, then they joined forces together in Maribor and after many years returned the title to Maribor. Then they went abroad each their own way and this year they ended up together again in Verona, where the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games took place, unfortunately we couldn't enter the arena because of that, another reason to return.
If you're heading to the mountains near Verona take some time to see the city, which hides many things ...

On the last day of our short break we climbed in the cool of Martuljek to the upper waterfall.
On arrival in the hot valley we refreshed ourselves in the Sava Dolinka before heading home.

Although in our STKP booklet there is no Aljažev dom stamp from Vrata, on the second day of our family vacation we dedicated ourselves to the last part of stage 5, which was later added to the entire STKP route.
From Gozd Martuljek to Vrata and back we accumulated approx. 40 km, including a 25% climb in Vrata, which is steeper by bike than by car, but the youngest still enjoyed it, as he likes cycling.

We went as a family for three days to Gozd Martuljek.
The youngest wanted Mangart via the Slovenian path for the first day, but unfortunately it was canceled due to a fire, so we got to know Mežakla a bit.
In the village of Kočna we left the bikes, so that at the end we could ride them back to the starting point.
Interesting path, suitable for everyone, I also recommend the ascent to the top of Obranca, which is a bit off the path, but offers beautiful views.

Nice and interesting ... I have already seen enough, but I have not gone yet.

Yesterday in ideal weather for walking I fulfilled the wish of my younger son.
In the morning the clouds cooled us, in the afternoon a light wind and shade during the descent.
The path is normally passable, there were few people, the entire way down we walked alone in the company of chamois that were grazing peacefully, so surprisingly yesterday the bivouac was empty in the afternoon sun.
The little prince and queen ... an invaluable memory forever.

Picture 32 - we traversed to the end, a visible smaller saddle, an unnamed peak on the left, then we went right up the gully nicely with poles to the roof of Rjavina.

Yesterday I again let myself be led and just enjoyed and of course took photos.
So along the path Kot - PP (Planica - Pokljuka) - Dimniki - Luknja peč - Rjavina - Kot.
It was a wonderful day, ideal weather for hiking and a path that will forever remain in your memory.

We visited Rab again, this time only the male part of the family.
Despite not the most beautiful summer weather we spent a couple of nice days before the biggest event on the island, as right now the Rabska Fjera is taking place. Next year we might visit it again.

Yesterday with a friend along the path or off the paths Vrata - Bivak IV - Sp. Dolkova špica - Dolkova špica - Rdeča škrbina - Rogljica - Dovški Gamsovec - Gubno - Bivak IV - Vrata.
All approaches are already described here on the forum, of course everyone goes to each mountain a bit their own way where they think it's best, but it's still easier if you already have some useful information. On Sp. Dolkova špica there are quite a lot of cairns on the entire ascent, if you see them all as you go. Rogljica short but sweet. Diagonally to the left, short jump, above which there is a rope for descent, to the top on the left side. Also on Dovški Gamsovec there are quite a few cairns, we bypassed the last rock before the top on the left and nicely to the top. To finish, on the easier side to Gubno, which is a nice viewpoint.
We spent a nice and interesting day on the peaks without crowds.
