Start from Tržič through Dovžan Gorge to Medvodje. From here left to Košutnik and towards Kofce. At Ravne descent along the logging trail to Matizovec farm and towards home. Approximately 30 km demanding mountain biking outweighed by nice views of Tržič peaks.

On Wednesday I climbed via Komarča to Black Lake, then continued to Komna and descended to Savica. Several hikers, including foreigners, had trouble finding the poorly marked start of the Black Lake-Komna trail.

Planina or hut is closed during winter. As for conditions, wintery. At least in the upper part.

Super tour. We looked at the ridge yesterday from Zagorelec. From Škrbina za Gradom to the top of Pelc nad Klonicami you probably went direct on the ridge? Is belay needed?

Traverse Laška Planja, Vrh Žlebi, Velika Baba
On Friday did the mentioned route, start Gozdec, over all three two-thousanders and return past Planina Baban.

I share my experience, I have often encountered snakes, last year on the path to Briceljek in October, even more surprising was the encounter with a viper in February, on steep grasses to Zadnjiški Ozebnik, where I almost grabbed it unknowingly. Most of them were on the descent from Kukova Špica, where screes pass into forest. The path is little visited, overgrown, here mountain vipers dominate.

14 days ago the path from Tolminske Ravne to the fork between Migovec and Tolminski Kuk was dry, further there were small patches of snow to Zeleni vrh. We went circular further to Mali vrh, where there's still quite some snow and further to planina Razor.

In Bovec fleecing guests everywhere already backfiring, people redirect to friendlier tourist areas where they care for guest and feel welcome. Here vehicle break-ins piling up even if pay parking with own risk sign. Aljažev dom in Vrata apparently very poorly visited...

julius, I agree. Another gem are the turnstiles rapidly being built under Vršič road. They'll probably soon have to sell some alpine hut to make their math work

High parking fees are already deterring many hikers, consequently some well-known huts have the worst attendance this year in recent years, verified.

Also public transport when last ride at 19, meanwhile still quite some hikers returning from Triglav and we drove them to Mojstrana, luckily had space in car, shows completely wrong decisions of municipal bigshots who with such high parking prices chased away esp domestic guests. From first hand such bad season as Aljažev dom in Vrata and some huts around, never been.

The point is they cash in as much money as possible, that's why they offer little. First they want to get rid of domestic guests, like at Bled and Bohinj where Slovenes are not welcome. But the municipal bosses in tourist gems can't cope with the crowd of visitors. Another example is Bovec, which is currently just a shadow of its former glory.

Mirank, just as you wrote. Everyone knows which political party is deliberately destroying Bovec and Kanin. On the Italian side they are much more advanced and friendly to hikers.
