Excellent via ferrata, which soon after the initial part makes you think nasmeh. It can be additionally spiced up with muddy soles, especially in the vertical. Due to the last overhang (F), actually the hardest via ferrata with us. If I was attentive enough, the "escape" from the via ferrata is only one, for the other I'm not sure, but there was a nicely visible path. So, if we run out of strength, we'll have trouble. Also in places where the rating is "C", the climbing partner said it's the upper limit of that rating. Well, that's subjective of course.
We two had this "luck" that it rained overnight, and a small shower caught us too, which spiced everything up even more velik nasmeh. Fuck, I tell you velik nasmeh, pure fuck velik nasmeh
We two didn't rush, on the contrary, my buddy got stomach issues on the way and we were at the top despite mud and rain in just over two hours.
Descent, that was a rodeo jezik, recommend 12-point crampons velik nasmeh.
Conclusion: unique!

Despite a two-hour drive from home it was worth visiting the newly opened via ferrata Mučevo.
Colleague from Styria, me from Gorenjska, we meet in Mežica, then a few more km to the starting point. Already soon after entering the gorge, the view of the initial "E" makes you think. We exchanged glances and immediately knew that the combination of moisture and dirt won't bring anything good on incline over 90 degrees. We gear up and soon the suspicions confirm. But the soles held anyway, as the rock is nicely structured and didn't slide that much. Won't drag on, but both of us were impressed at the end; finger-licking good. Until now, at least for me the hardest via ferrata here was Sp. Plot, but since long time since I climbed it last, hard to judge now which is harder. Leave that to others, leaning towards Sp. Plot. Actually no comparison between the two via ferratas, as Sp. Plot is more on smooth slabs, rock on Mučevo via ferrata somewhat more structured and shoes grip well. Also some pegs at key spots. Personally like Mučevo better. 1.5 hour time seems quite inflated. We took lots of pics and didn't rush but got to top noticeably earlier. Rest let the pics say.. And nice that no crowds ever in the via ferrata velik nasmeh
And also, in wet for descent recommend at least 10-point crampons velik nasmeh
From my side - thumbs up!nasmeh

This today already went over the line. A horde of ferrata climbers (only girls) gathers under the guide's leadership and literally occupies the ferrata for a few hours. Already at the start the guide roped the "easy bit". In some unequipped wall, a climber would climb the whole route without even the ferrata protection on top. And doesn't even have the culture (the guide) to let others pass at a suitable safe spot. I bypassed the entry vertical and thus avoided nearly two-hour ascent on Jerm'n. Don't know why guides drag incompetents into such a difficult ferrata, the starting part already looked like a rescue. All for money, obviously.

Yesterday we finally tackled this via ferrata. The lower part seemed a bit harder to me, because you mainly have to pull on the cables. In the upper technical part, arm fatigue is already noticeable, but it's technically nicer than the lower. Approach to the start is a bit different, as they are completely renovating the village where the bridge over Sava is and you have to turn off the main road one intersection earlier and through the whole village to the bridge they're rebuilding.
Even with good gloves, expect some blisters nasmeh

This time the forecasters hit it spot on jezik But since hope dies last and so that the topic wouldn't end like that, we started at four in the morning from the wild parking towards Brinova glava. Lucky us, on return no parking ticket on the wipers nasmeh.
Goal was V. Rokav, but after just under three hours, when looking at the sad entrance to the couloir from the saddle under Šplevta we decided for plan B, D. Cross.
The couloir looked weak from afar, forecast not encouraging. It took a good half hour to the top, fog enveloped Rokav and Oltar already after 10 min.
Since descent in fog from top is slightly problematic, after short break on summit we descended to saddle under Šplevta where we had left all climbing gear. Plan was to stop at bivouac II, but first rain drops dissuaded us. Rain intensified and after end of express screes we put on waterproof clothing. It didn't help much, we arrived at car wet as puppies jezik. Satisfied with the trip despite change and choice of lower easier goal, richer for wet experience.

Yesterday quite late (09.45), but not too late, we started from Jermanca towards Planjava. On the way we met three hikers who were already returning from the first half of Zeleniških, we towards Srebrno sedlo. In between we crossed a firm snowfield where the ice axe was useful, higher through scrub looking for traces of the path which weren't there to the saddle. After three hours we reached the summit, which we soon left due to cold wind. We dawdled, but descended the same way, but towards Kamniško, the scree at the end of Planjava ridge tempted us a bit before Kamniško sedlo. Unfortunately suspicions about impassability without winter gear (read: crampons,...) came true, so just before the steeper part to the saddle, due to hard snowfield we turned around and headed back uphill towards Srebrno sedlo. On the way we also popped to the highest peak of Zeleniških špic, then descended the same way to the car. To the car at Jermanca we arrived well before dark. Exactly 1800vm accumulated.

One could say "nothing new on the western front". I only skipped Prešeren's on Mali Stol. Very few visitors. After reaching the shoulder below Mali Stol it blew quite unpleasantly, further on the ridge occasionally too. From the concrete bivouac into the forest already summer conditions.

I believe it. Upon arriving at the railway without descent description the first dilemma, a bit lower at the three paths junction the second jezik. We already wanted straight ahead, at the last moment spotted blue and red dot on the candelabrum, otherwise would go straight velik nasmeh. That one, the right one, until we noticed the dot seemed to us the least likely velik nasmeh.

I park next to the museum in Mojstrana, equip myself and head towards Grančišče. In a sharp bend a local firmly addresses me saying, don't I see that the via ferrata is closed. I look around and indeed, on the pole with the direction sign for the via ferrata, there was a notice stuck that I hadn't noticed, probably saying the via ferrata is closed for cleaning (as the local energetically informed me). I politely thank him for the verbal notice, turn around and return to the car. I had no choice but to drive to the nearest next via ferrata in Martuljek. Some hope to go to Hvadnik evaporated as soon as I turned from the main road towards Srednji vrh, as both parking lots were completely full; so Hvadnik is out. I drive on, find parking and, still equipped with the previous gear, head into the damp slope and soon into the vertical.
Until now it hasn't happened to me that there was a crowd in the via ferrata. The via ferrata is somewhat more demanding and not for everyone. Most visit the neighboring Hvadnik, which is a bit easier and "fresher" than Jerm'n.

For the last few years, the hike to Dražgoše hasn't been missed, and this year neither. This time unfortunately not from Pasje ravni, but we went anyway. Initially some concerns due to fresh snow and dog-cold weather, we decided to start from Tržič. We parked near the gas station in Bistrica/Tržič and along the road through villages past Zvirč, the roundabout in Podtabor, under the highway past the DARS base road, then in a sharp left turn we turned from the main road onto the gravel path (shortcut), which rejoins the main road near the junction for Gobovce. We continued over the bridge across Sava left through Gobovce to the village Ovsiše, where we crossed the Lipnica stream, then climbed straight to the road towards Dobravica and further towards Češnjica. Even though we had gone to Dražgoše organized several times, behind the village Dobravica we reached the junction with a chapel and behind it spotted a mark, no one remembered where we walked then. We agreed and continued towards Češnjica. Of course we soon reached a dead end, navigation failed (should have gone in the direction of the previously mentioned mark), we turned back and then more by feel, after a good half hour we caught the marked path that we had abandoned a little earlier. As for orientation, it was easier from then on, but there was more and more snow on the path and when we reached the Dražgoše – Kropa road, we waded through the last few tens of meters well over our knees. After less than half an hour of walking on asphalt we reached a sharp right turn with an info board. Here we had the second break with PD Tržič, where they served us hot tea. But this time without a stop determined towards the goal, the last few km. The cold eased a bit, the goal was getting closer and when we reached the little church of sv. Jedrt, where PD Tržič offered us tea and sausage, we sped up a bit on that last kilometer which already offers a view towards our goal.
After a good five hours we arrived at the goal. The rest of the statistics, I think, are not important ;-)
In the end we realized that we didn't stop on the whole path to drink something, eat and rest at least a little. Both of us had pleasantly loaded backpacks with all the necessary equipment, full of food and drink (which PD Tržič always took care of), which we brought to the goal. But so that we didn't carry the contents of the backpacks in vain all the time, at the end we even stuffed ourselves a bit with food, the Turkish coffee suited best, which we brewed on the burner, the water came from melted snow, of which there was plenty.
So, despite the organized hikes falling due to Covid, we also honored and preserved the memory of the fallen innocent villagers and fighters against the occupier this year (8.1.2021).

Well, in your way you're right, that's why this portal is so interesting. With you one really can't expect anything.
I promise I won't anymore ;-)

LG, you really aren't well. After all recommendations, warnings... from authorities that conditions aren't... you still go alone to challenge the same place and at the end you even boast that you would go rescue him... I don't want to be offensive, but obviously you don't understand otherwise than me telling you that you are one big a..hole!
Parkeljc21. 11. 2020 16:25:46
Ask those two who went "to nicer places" and got injured (on Ciprnik and on Kredarica), and more could be found...
