On Monday I went up the gully and there is no problem there. Just on the traverse there is still some snow
Down via Škarjev rob, there in the upper part a couple of snow patches where caution is needed and winter gear is not superfluous. Probably there is less snow every day.

In hope of sunshine, my friend and I head to Kot. Not very friendly weather and slippery rocks took our will. A bit below the summit, we were greeted by what most of us hike mountains for. Views to fall into the valley, sea below us and warm weather.
super hike, only the rocks to the spring are always slippery so caution is advised.

Yesterday my son and I took advantage of one of the last nice autumn days, and from Vrata via Luknja and Plemenice headed to the top. Weather sunny, only the wind was cooling all the time. Path is OK, a couple of pitons damaged and pulled out. Return via Prag. Really wonderful day, smartly used.

Headed to the summit from Mač. On top a bit before 6 and then watched the wonderful play of colors. Trees already in autumn dress, larches still a bit short. The path itself without features, back of course with light and in silence.

Yesterday we headed to Jezerske konce.
Parked by the hunting hut and set off at a fast pace (due to biting cold) towards Davova grofija. Not too much snow, track is made. On Jenkova planina the sun shines on us, then the last slope biting the knees. Path trodden, not quite on the marked, snow mushy, no crampons needed. At the top wonderful views on a sunny windless day. At the top 1 hour enjoyment and photos, downhill gaiters up and more through forest than path. Super day

At summit Monday from Vrata via Plemenice. Winter gear not needed anywhere.
But some spots bit icy, so careful

I didn't write the thread title. It was the first one where I could describe this route in my opinion.
And I also didn't write that we circled all peaks in the Košuta ridge
Sorry if I misled or hurt anyone.

Yesterday morning still in the dark to planina Pungrat, there the path under our feet and first to Kofce gora, then to Vel. vrh and start of traversing the Košuta ridge.
Weather divine, views too. I don't know all peaks but there were quite a few. Summit logbook only at three . Very few hikers on the path, but quite more animals. To Košutnikov turn in 5 hours. Path slightly damaged in some places, otherwise all OK.
Descent to planina Sp. Dolga njiva, earned beer, then foot-march back to the car on the wonderful Košuta hiking path. Quite some boletus ended up in the backpack, growing almost on the path.
Super tour, super everything, just a bit "roasted" from all-day sunbathing

A bit different, but nice.
We started towards the pasture behind Črna gora, there put on gaiters and then ploughing!! All signposts with times were at least twice too fast for us
for the gully under Home ridge we needed at least 1 hour imo, looked like 20 min. Then crossing to the saddle over Suha. After short consultation we skip Črna Prst and start ploughing to Orožnova hut.
after thick 5 hours of snow also up to b..s, then sat down vampi and beer. Crampons stayed in backpack, ice axe in hand a few times, gaiters much too low.
Already on Monday supposedly our tracks won't be there anymore

I wrote a few days ago.
For ascent no need for winter gear, on descent few snowfields quite compacted. But can be crossed also without crampons, but with lots of caution.
Have a good hike

today with kids on this route. Start in the dark from Kot and up. Morning was quite cold, and we caught the sun only a bit below summit. On summit sun warmed us and almost no wind. Route in good condition and very little snow, just on descent from Stanič to Kot we put on crampons at few spots, as snow was fully compacted and frozen

Sunrise on the top.
In the dark I watched stars in the sky, then clouds started to appear, so sunrise wasn't perfect(for photos), still it was nice and worth early rising.
Path normally passable, in middle part quite muddy and slippery, snow just traces and some snow lumps
