Probably I'll face a bunch of "attacks" like "this isn't a grammar corner", but I'll risk this note anyway, since this "little thing" bothers me a lot.

Namely, more and more often (almost as a rule) comment writers use phrases like: from Triglav, from Kredarica, from the wall ... etc.

Can you maybe vividly imagine breaking out e.g. from Triglav (which of course in Slovenian means you're deep inside the mountain mass and coming through the rocks to the surface)? That might be possible in some sci-fi movie, but not in everyday life.

I know it's too much to expect people on countless forums to fully follow grammar and spelling in their posts, but at least some respect for our language could be shown by not ridiculing it.

What are your (positive and/or negative) experiences with hiking GPS devices? Which one would you recommend?

What about the forest road from Jelendol to Mrzli studenec? Is it normally drivable for regular cars?

Could you fix it so I don't have to confirm that cookie notice box every time I return to the main page from other pages (e.g. trip description, photos etc.)?
So in e.g. 15 minutes browsing hribi.net I probably click that notice at least 10x :-(

The path to the lower waterfall is nicely newly arranged. According to the sign, the EU contributed something to it.

Ah, by the way this too: Surely you've noticed that a few months ago he already registered here with some female name to boast what a good host he is? nasmeh

Am I really the only one noticing how "isantl" diligently repeats the mantra "he is master in his house, owner sets boundaries..."? Which tells me that (probably warned by some friend about what opinions appear here), the "great master on his own" himself registered on the portal to express his arrogance here a few times. Ignore him and we won't have to read such entries anymore, he'll leave as he came.

I'm not an expert, but by sound the word "jarej" reminds me most of the expression "jaro žito". If I'm not mistaken, that doesn't mean either healthy nor young, but early?

Don't rely too much on the hut opening data on PZS. Just today I browsed and checked some hut websites, the data differs - e.g. on the hut's website it says closed, on PZS list it says open.

From which village?

Personally I don't see crosses on mountain tops as religious symbols (religious symbol is mainly that cross with corpse nailed on top). The cross (equilateral) is much older symbol than Christian religion. I really like that summits are somehow marked and this marking is not our Slovenian invention at all; if crosses are too problematic, let it be something else, e.g. X sign or such :-).

Really nice photos, congratulations! At the same time also informative, since rarely anyone shows the path so nicely, where you can even see how to get by car to the starting point. Mostly only close-up shots are posted, from which you can't discern as much as from your "distant" photos.

One more tip that might be useful for someone:
If you want to drink the beer that suits you best, you can wrap it at home properly chilled in two layers of newspaper and put it in your backpack. Even after several hours (when e.g. you reach the end of your hike) the beer with such insulation is still nicely cold. Cheers!nasmeh

When reading this debate, I have to smile a bit sourly - namely, if someone looked at the data on the blue beer can that bears a well-known Austrian name (and which you can buy in Spar for the aforementioned amount - it has the "subtitle" "premium shank bier"), and compared it with Union, Union would probably be much better. If they didn't see the manufacturer's data, they might not notice the difference at all. Tested several times with some acquaintances ... nasmeh

"Aboc" where did you "pick up" the name "Bournova pot"??? The Born family has always been Born (and still is).

I went to this one last year, rising from Dleskovska plateau, on a completely freshly marked path.
