Last week I was on Piz Boe. First via path 627 then switched to path 638. At the top of the mountain there were lots of visitors even though it was Wednesday mid-week. No lack of sun and views.

Yesterday to Jalovec from Vršič past the hut under Špička. Above the hut fog appeared and stayed all day. Through the slopes of Veliki Ozebnik the fog accompanied me to the top so there were no views. Descent by the same path to the hut and back to Vršič.

On Saturday 03.08.2013 I went from the Pecol pasture to Montaz. First to the Brazza hut and then along the traverse across the pasture to the saddle below Montaz. Then along the "via normale" and Pipan's ladder to the summit. The sun was merciless especially on the descent.

On Saturday 27.07.2013 through Žrelo and along the ridge to the top of Storžič. Below the summit there were sheep which huddled together and made shade in the sunny heat. I descended via Škarjev rob towards Dom pod Storžičem where hot sun accompanied me.

On Saturday from Sviščaki to Big Snežnik. There were lots of us at the top. Shame that almost nobody returns back over Little Snežnik, which is a big pleasure for me as I make a loop trail. Praise to PD Ilirska Bistrica for the freshly maintained path through the scree over Little Snežnik.

On Sunday via Hanz path to MM and further past snowfield under VM to the top. Then along the ridge of Mojstrovkas to ZM. Descent via very long pathless traverse under Mojstrovkas to Grebenc and via normal path back to Vršič.

From Bukovnik to Grohat then climbing to Velika Raduha summit. From summit via Durce also to Lanež. Descend via Durce to Grohat. Path was pure enjoyment.

On Sunday from Trate via climbing path to top of Stol. Protection on ascent in excellent condition, path completely snow-free. Descent via Zabreška to Valvasorjev dom. Wonderful traverse of Stol.

The sun again beckons to nature. Wonderful colors of nature also on the top, especially the view of the flooded Lake Cerknica. The hut on Slivnica is open also on weekdays.

On Saturday from Zadnjica over Kriški podi through Dovška vratca to Stenar. From the top descended towards Stenarska vratca and then climbed to Križ. Followed descent from Križ with aid of cables and pegs through Bovška vratca towards Pogačnikov dom and back to Zadnjica. Super one-day tour.

Two weeks ago I was on Großer Hafner - 3076m. From Karawanken tunnel it's 1 hour drive to Gmünd exit then another approx. half hour along Maltatal valley to Kolnbrein lake at altitude where there's parking. High alpine road is toll.
Or you can park approx 6 km lower where there's a smaller parking at 1509 m. I descended that way and it's a much better path to hut Kattowitzer Hütte 2321 m (timewise almost same 2.5 hours but more elevation gain). On the link below I posted a map too so it will help you. Wish you safe steps Lp

On Thursday 09.08.2012 start from Sporthotel Maltatal parking. Path to KH hut muddy at start from rain. Later on ridge fog joined so no nice views. Ropes ok. On descent at KH hut rain starts so we decided to return to high altitude road Maltatal parking at 1509m.

On Saturday my goal was Veliki vrh on Begunjščica. Start from Ljubelj along Bornova path to Prevala pasture and over Kalvarija to the ridge of Begunjščica and then to Veliki vrh. Descent towards Roblekov dom and return to the junction towards Zelenica, visit to the mountain hut at Zelenica and return to starting point at Ljubelj.

On Sunday from starting point Vranček across Planina Korošica to Hajnževo sedlo and then via climbing path to Great Peak. Descent towards home to Kofce and on to Matizovec farm. Thanks to the friendly hiker for the lift to my starting point.
