@lino: Funny thing when they say the snake moves away from human. It did move away but 2 m  On the way back I almost stepped on it when I was looking at the spot where it was before.

Yesterday I set off from Zadnja Trenta at 6:40 and after an hour and a half I was at the signpost where instead of continuing to Zavetišče pod Špičkom I turned left to BG. That 'shortcut' over Gladka griva, Konj and Prehodec was long. Even before Razor I lost the path several times, climbed in steep Trenta grasses where crampons or at least an ice axe would be handy, found it again, and at every ascent leading to a descent wondered if this time more down than up. At one o'clock I finally stepped on the BG summit.
Conditions on the path are summer-like; only [on the] short scree section [there is a] bit of snow, which is a 'piece of cake' compared to some very tricky (read: ruined) spots in the summit part.

Palček Plezalček, do you have more pics from that traverse under Pelci? They would be very welcome, would make me very happy.
From Triglav we see them around every rock and cables, from below and from above, from here practically none. How much walk from the start in Zadnja Trenta to Kanja saddle?
Of course, all praise for such a tour.

From Soča village to hunting hut on Planina nad Sočo practically no snow. From hunting hut onwards from 0 to over knees snow which was mostly dry. In last part crampons needed.
Descent done on ascent path.

Shady all day, partially snowy, frozen, icy in the wall too. Photo taken from V. Mojstrovka is about a week old, but not much has changed.
Currently more suitable for ascent from Soča village.

Bravo Darinka. Nice photos. At the top you were shortchanged on your reward for the effort (no view) because of the fog. Too bad, right?

No harm done. I had a nice view in the morning. And I hadn't descended over Kanja saddle before. I went down the difficult one, but there was fog and the marks ran out. I returned to Kanja saddle and descended.

Ločanka, I know that path well, been there several times. True, I prefer to go alone, as it's not exactly easy. Requires good fitness and Kanja saddle is quite airy. Today the fixed ropes at the start were a bit less tight than usual.
