I know.velik nasmeh
Yesterday with my younger son along the path Pl. Planin(i)ca - Preval - Kalvarija - Veliki vrh - Roblekov dom - Poljška pl. - Pl. Planin(i)ca.
The entire path is nicely marked and normally passable, only from the top towards the hut it's a bit damaged in some parts. On the entire loop we met a few people, on the top we enjoyed the solitude.nasmeh
We spent a nice day and our eight-year-old added two new SPP stamps to his booklet.mežikanje
The road to the starting point at Pl. Planin(i)ca or the junction for Preval is drivable, although it has probably seen better days, water does its thing, there are many water channels, so it's suitable for higher vehicles, slowly you get far ...jezik

My salute to the smiling boyvelik nasmeh for his age that's quite a feat.

You can see from afar that he enjoys it and bursts with energy.

Today's path: Ljubelj over Zelenica to Begunjščica then to Roblek over Roža and Born tunnels. 4.5 hours walking, with breaks 5.5 hours.

Path is dry and well marked, weather today fantastic. Would praise the hut keeper at Roblek for all friendliness and good struklji.

Born tunnels nicely passable, few puddles but can bypass them.

This weekend was the circular tour on SPP Tržič-Dobrča-Begunjščica-Zelenica, with extension to Vrtača, then to Završnica spring and back via Zelenica to Ljubelj. From there by bike back to Tržič (to the car).
Overnight at Roblekov dom, where I greet the fantastic caretaking team and locals from Gorenjska lowland!
Weather on Saturday cloudy, on Sunday almost summer day.
On path to Planina Prevala nobody, in contrast to Vrtača and back lots of hikers.
Ascent to Begunjščica from Prevala I don't like, because I see no point in the path that goes straight (like some diretissima) through forest and grass. Can't imagine ascent in summer in the sun here! Path barely marked, also on pathless and grass to top.
In Dom na Zelenici fantastic blueberry strudel, but outside hut everything smells like sewage...
Ascent to Vrtača pure poetry, but too much visitors for my taste.

Path not dry, avalanche danger. The only suitable is from Draga valley.

Road completely closed presumably until 12.1.2023. As far as I know, no detour.

The camera at Ljubelj shows some cars on the parking lot every day.
Do they all come from the Austrian side?

PS: I found this in one article:
"Road to Ljubelj closed at the gas station in Bistrica pri Tržiču. Detour goes through Tržič to Podljubelj and then to Ljubelj."

Is this detour current?

Dear folks, on social networks everyone writes as if there's some major closure. Was there on Wednesday, DETOUR for Ljubelj or Kompas shop is totally normal, through Tržič center, then left towards Podljubelj, and after a few minutes driving on the side road you join the main road to Ljubelj.

Detour is open, you get to Ljubelj normally, just instead of main road you drive through Tržič and on to trailheads for the hills
