Today's Saturday morning my friend and I used for Gradiška Tour. Start from Gradišče village via climbing path and back via normal. Today Gradiška was quite visited! From the top nice view of Vipava Valley Attaching short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6xIMTFRGQM

Nice ascent on Furlan path. Pity the ferrata is shorter, but it's nice and airy in places. SVK not needed for old farts, recommended for beginners. I free climbed 80% without touching the cable.. in my opinion the route without cable would be II/III. Descent via easier variant. Nice afternoon in Vipava Valley, spoiled by speeding fine (horrific 66 km/h !) of 125 euros . f... th... mother! https://picasaweb.google.com/117183905851327197884/GradiskaTuraFurlanovaPot#

Why not use Slovenian names in Slovenia, it's actually called Furlan path.

I knew you know the real name. Sounds more cool and modern if you say you climbed ferrata, than say you went on Furlan secured path. Madonna no, if because of that word you feel more advanced and worldly then happily ferrata around Slovenian hills

Conditions after Friday snowfall dictated choice of destination. Judging by license plates at parking lots, quite a few Styrians headed to the coast . Otherwise pleasant tour, generous with sun and views, nicely described and pictured again by Geppo.

According to the logbook, it was really crowded up there this weekend. During the week towards evening, it's usually enjoyment in solitude.

Last week as part of summer camp with youths to Gradiška and onwards to Abram. I'll write the same as some before me...between Gradiška and Abram on some sections the trail is not ideally marked. On the way down also found a forgotten rice paper, which is already with the owner.

@ms_primoz, well, we can say it that way...but probably neither you nor I know the story of this bear, which has been at Abram for about 25 years. Maybe, or rather I'll say probably, certain death awaited it in the wild. But I agree that the space it has available (cage size) is not exactly exemplary.

So, I'll go to Africa for a rhino and put it in a cage. After 25 years Ivan will come and say: "better that it's been locked up 25 years, because "out there" certain death awaited it". An animal belongs where it belongs. Because if anyone belongs in a cage, it's humans. And not so that some animal wants to do them harm.
