They say some snow will fall, but no big danger; problem would be only orientation... crampons and ice axe mandatory. Regards.

yeah I saw it, unfortunately looking worse and worse...but if no heavy precipitations, I'd go anyway, or move to weekend, cuz work weekdays...

LP, ascent successful, too early at the top (1h), so I decided (since I already have tons of pics from grintovec, and also wind )to head down to Ovnov čir and there across to Dolge stene and wait for sunrise there (just right windless). Snow starts a bit before end of forest, but at night already wet, sinks even to the ass, so I really struggled. Saw bunny, white bunny, Belko, and two chamois. LP still exhausted, Grega

Very nice pictures, thanks for the information... tomorrow it'll supposedly snow only in the afternoon, but I'll head up anyway most likely. LP.

Hi everyone! Yesterday I was on Grintovec and the conditions were quite good for hiking. Due to warnings about sinking I started from Kamniška Bistrica already at 5.30 a.m. Snow still starts a bit below the tree line, to Kokrsko sedlo nothing sank for me, the snow was just the right hardness and I used the predecessors' footprints. From the Saddle onwards the snow was a bit softer, but still fine for walking. Only about 100 meters below the summit I sank occasionally. I got to the top around 10. Since the sun was scorching and I lingered below the summit, on the descent I "looked" into the snow depth a bit more often and already waddled to the Saddle. But overall it was a wonderful spring tour. LP

Žuža, conditions are changing, today I was at night on Stolu (pics follow towards evening), snow phenomenal, ideal, last time though too warm night. P.s.: surely you don't have 100kg like me LP Grega

LP, at 6.00h start in Konec, at Cojzova koča short break, at 9.40 on top. Weather super-HOT, on top moderate SW wind blowing. Few more days and this tour fully dry too.... LP Aleš

Hi! Interested in conditions on route Konec - Cojzova koča - Grintavec - Dolgi hrbet - Skuta - Žmavcarji - Konec. Since you write no major issues on path to Grintavec, wonder if anyone can say more about second part? Assume mentioned tour doable in 10-12 hours, depending on conditions. Ice axe and crampons of course in mandatory gear... Thanks for replies and good luck!

Saturday morning was like in a fairy tale, so it was at 7 a.m. on Grintavcu, snow was frozen, ascent on the roof with crampons no problem. Nice greeting and good luck.
