Today we were on Grintavec (Kamniška Bistrica-Kokrsko sedlo-Grintavec), weather in the morning nice and sunny, on top quite windy (cold), in the afternoon fog started to appear. The path is well marked. Very few hikers today. Nice greetings.

Today I was on Grintovec, start at 6:00, summit at 8:30, looked around a bit and back to the valley.

I needed about 2.30 hours, I looked at the photo properties.
For the last approx. 200 meters I had to be especially careful on the ascent (icy rocks, short frozen snowfields...)

I was up there on Sunday and on the way kept wondering in my thoughts about this New Zealander's success. For me in such time (even if I multiply it by 2) I can't even descend... velik nasmeh

I was up there on Saturday 4.9. After sleeping at Cojzova koča I started in the morning at 07.30. Weather was pretty dodgy so looked like no views. So I decided to go a bit faster and see how quick I can reach the top. At the summit exactly at 08.40 - so 1 hour 10 minutes, which doesn't seem that bad to me considering I didn't really run (probably couldn't anywayvelik nasmeh). Of course no sense comparing to the world cream of pro mountain runners.

But I noticed I was "bunny" for three super fast hikers for a while, who then eased off just below the summit and slowed pace velik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh

Ha ha, šerpa, you wrote that bunny bit well. I've found myself in that role many times and it's always funny when I see someone chasing me. velik nasmehvelik nasmeh And then I think about those people's self-image mežikanje and my legs go even faster.
