Sorry Bojan, but it's a noble domestic sow named Rosalie (Rozi as we call her) that's been accompanying me for quite a while. And in Germany she's a real star. Why I take her along is another story. If we meet Juše's boar somewhere we'll send the young piglets to the mountaineering crowd up there for safe steps, right. The other option is a good picnic

Hello, we were on Grintovec on Tuesday 2 August, nice sunny weather, but only until around ten in the morning, when clouds slowly roll in from the valley spoiling the fantastic view. We caught the last train. So set off as early as possible. Lp.

Today I was on Grintovec from Suhadolnik. The road there is fairly drivable, but slowly and carefully. There are quite a few potholes and ditches. I started just after 6 a.m., so I had shade up to Kokrsko sedlo. After a short tea break, I slowly headed to the summit. Except for a few hikers at the start, I met no one up to the hut. Towards the top, there was already a proper column. Just after 9 I was at the top, where everything was full. After a short break and photos, I headed back to the valley, while in the opposite direction there was an almost unbroken column all the way to Cojzova hut. There I treated myself to apple strudel and descended to the car. Nice tour, super weather with little wind (except on the saddle, where it was very windy) and just the right temperatures. At the top there was high cloudiness, but the views in all directions were superb. On the return to Suhadolnik, Grintovec was slowly getting a cloud cap, so it proved again that it is worth going to the mountains early.

I haven't seen so many people anywhere in the mountains as I saw today on Grintovec (ok, I haven't been to Triglav yet  ).
At 11am there was a crowd on the top, within half an hour there was already a lack of space for newly arrived hikers to sit.

Down just right time because in an hour and a half started rain... really curious if caught anyone on top given still columns of people going even later up.

nata24 half hour later whole battalion. alpin did I accidentally follow you on takeoff and flight to Kamniška Bistrica valley? Little before nine takeoff below summit? Later motor paraglider flew over us on top.

Today on Grintovec from Konec then via Kokrsko and Mlinarsko sedlo. From Mlinarsko sedlo path not so innocent. About two hours mists racing but didn't spoil fun. Top huge people also surrounding peaks. Descent via Streha. Really super!!!
