Not much snow, it sinks only in steeper section, winter gear needed. Today there were quite strong gusts of wind which erased the track in the upper part, if it was there at all.

I was also on Grintovec on Saturday nasmeh

, only I started from Suhadolnik - snow starts quite quickly.

Today on Prvak KSA. From Kamniška Bistrica over Konc to Kokrsko sedlo and over Streha to the top. Descent by the same path. Beautiful day, real winter fairy tale. Lots of people, almost a little pilgrimage up there jezik

. At the start the path is dry and suitable for short sleeves. Not very warm. Then some ice starts, where small crampons come in handy, a bit below Kokrsko sedlo there is more snow but nothing special. Kokrsko sedlo is dry and most of the path over Streha. But there are quite a few icy parts between rocks. Last part vertical upwards, poles and crampons come in handy, especially on descent. I won't say you must have an ice axe and crampons. But most used them on descent, even though the snow softened a lot in the afternoon. Great view on top, snow on the south side is not much anymore. The fog boundary is somewhere between 600 and 700 masl. mežikanje

Up there not a cloud and light breeze. Really warm, gloves not used at all.

I've had enough of foggy Ljubljana so I headed to Grintovec. From the lower cargo cable car station, past the hut at the saddle, to the top. Back the same path. Quite a few gathered at the top, where it was blowing strongly. Views great, crampons mandatory.

already in Bistrica there was no more fog
