Maybe it helps someone. Picture of Jalovec with surroundings, taken on Wednesday, so just before the cooling.

Hi, today we were up there and there is really very very little snow, only in some shady areas. Ice axe useful there, crampons no need to use. It was really very cold and strong wind blowing. Otherwise excellent day with beautiful view

Jalov`c is anyway... always will be Jalov`c. Bravo! Super ascent. While others look for dry routes, some already "stamping" But Jalovec in such conditions is real magic!

I'd ask if there's snow to Kotovo sedlo or winter gear needed. Is the path that at 1500m turns right past bivouac to saddle dry? Thanks for reply.

Nature that takes your breath away. What I missed in the past that it took so long and missed nice days but time will come when I can enjoy beauties in our beautiful Slovenia.

@mountain lover, I myself started going into the mountains only about four years ago and I often ask myself the same question as you, why not earlier. These pictures from Jalovec are really as @MajaO wrote - omg, they are truly wonderful. Our mountains in Slovenia are really beautiful, they literally enchanted me and I can't help thinking about them every single day, multiple times a day. That whiteness, footprints in it, takes your breath away, you wish you were there.
