@Juš: I went up (like my predecessor) via summer route because chimney route didn't have enough snow imho. Yeah, gotta go to the summit again when more snow. Looking forward to that day already.

I also visited Jalovec today. Went up via Kotovo sedlo. As it turned out later, it was not the best decision as climbing in some places was very exposed. Almost too much adrenaline for one day. But the summit views were gorgeous. Back via glacier.

Urarrr, you beat me to it, I was already wondering why no one went up to Jalovec, Mangart, Špik... If anyone was up there, please report what the conditions are like.

Hello
I'm also curious about conditions for Jalovec from Tamar via Jalovec couloir to the summit... if anyone goes up by Friday please tell what conditions are like (photos welcome if possible, as many as you can)... planning maybe to go this weekend not 100% as I have other peaks lined up but really want Jalovec

I was in Ozebnik on 9.1. and it is wonderful. Path to Jalovec is trodden along the normal route. Winter chimney is unclimbable. Go boldly with proper gear and experience. If you have skis take them, Ozebnik has to be carried anyway.

Anyone else planning to go to Jalovec tomorrow? According to the meteorologist on Kredarica conditions will be ideal, just -15 and wind 60-70km/h or even more in gusts.
