Approximately how much time on foot to Kotovo sedlo in current conditions?

From Planica to Tamar is 45 min, to the bivouac below Kotovo sedlo good two hours, to Kotovo sedlo from the bivouac another 20 min longer, if sinking (hiker without skis, snowshoes) the tour can extend by 1h-2h.

Settling can be a problem, yesterday on Špik it was quite significant, Nataša said up to the ass occasionally. Could also be dangerous due to snow avalanches, thaw, new snow.

Hi, Igor!

Some pictures with comments, if not all, you could put on the portal. Špik and its surroundings are always interesting to see. Especially now with huge amount of snow.

Regards, Jovan

Where will you stick the ice axe if the snow is rotten and avalanches are heard in the valleys, end of the week new precipitation, cooling, so it won't be safe for a while, as birds on twigs are already chirping. If there are no conditions there are none, life is only one. But you know that the snow must transform in the mountains, freeze, and only then will it be good to walk on it. Why not go to Špik, it's a better choice and even "safer", only that it sinks quite a bit. You're going along the summer path, the couloir isn't formed, it's a jump and suitable only mid-winter with more snow.

redbull,
I was heading to Mangrt on Sunday myself, but didn't even reach the saddle. You will have to wait patiently like most until the snow clearsnasmeh good luck

Yeah, it depends a bit when you went, if you start in the sun, really harder.

Thanks for quick reply. Yes, I meant more spring or summer "skiing" hehe. We'll wait for nicer weather, so a few days... Lp!

Someone didn't think like you and it ended tragically.

Maybe a stone flew from the walls of the couloir or fatal lightning during a thunderstorm, sad.

A source wouldn't be amiss, and don't speculate, because many things could be to blame for the accident.
