viharnik, you better go fence-poking like you're sitting at the comp now, since you didn't feel like clearing the path in Kamniška Bistrica. There you were smart-assing about some joint actions, in the end you chickened out as always. You too just philosophize from home!

Today I still have to wait for the emulsion to dry well, no sun anywhere. Korl, yeah you're right, I'll do at least something smart . In Bistrica I shouldn't cut trees anyway, but I did on Kurešček .

On Tuesday when I was around 3-4 a.m. in Tamar in that hollow I couldn't see 5m ahead, the valley is wide and long, better prevention than cure since avalanches don't have timetables anyway. That I repeated this yesterday I had the idea much earlier than Juš, but when conditions are "excellent" you can't wait long. Yesterday I was there again and saw where I actually did the cut , this time day was breaking under the glacier and there too I dug a hole and did a partial cut, "luckily" I had ski poles so I could "cut" deeper than possible with a shovel. Trapezoid, layers went full 80*60*20 cm but with pulling force around 20 daN or kg. I didn't go lower since those hikers and walkers would probably look at me weird for digging so much, anyway there were only my three holes from Tamar to Jalovec summit. Descent through chimney from 9 a.m. quite difficult because of southern snow, ice axe pick went barely in, not before, saw others with poor gear too (doesn't bother me as long as they don't endanger me) and late arrivals around 11-12 a.m. to Jalovec top. Out of glacier towards Tamar around 9.30 a.m. luckily nothing hit me in the glacier, just some pebble, ice chunk flew by.

you and your snow profiles, still messing with that. Even if conditions are that good, you'll probably find an avalanche. You know well when it's dangerous; if it buries you in the morning when it's frozen then you're done with mountains. no point talking. Especially don't understand people like e.g. yesterday who rush to Kredarica at 11 a.m. in this hot sun and a bit above Prgarica, right of Kurica snow is just waiting and cracking so it buries some. Because when that breaks off, if it hasn't already yesterday, you get a multi-meter hard ball into you.

These aren't even snow profiles but something else. Follow Klepar's suggestion and don't mislead others with your "expertise", because in reality you have no clue what you're doing! No hard feelings.

One tourist question: if I start at 7am in Planica and go (on foot) towards Ozebnika up to about 2000m altitude, is the path ok? Need ice axe and crampons, no helmet.

Juš, Red Bull and Klepar and maybe others are just dragging out, yesterday I wasn't alone and had an instructor with me so just shut up and don't provoke, don't f*ck and think a bit, because neither three of you nor Klepar with his group and others did the prerez. No sense posting more pics from tours, like this and similar you've driven away Turbot, Zlodej and many more, now I meet them in mountains/hills, met all already.

Janez, if you want to keep your head unscathed, helmet is necessary there in the melting snow. For ascent to Ozebnika a very early hour is necessary. Count at least 2h45min to 2000m height or boulder.

Today on the summit, early hour necessary, there was no excessive sun, no stonefall on descent either... but on return stones flew nicely from ledges and also on glacier... careful

We got to Tamar already on Friday after 10pm, slept there and started from the hut at 3.30 a.m.... worth it... but two went at 5 from Planica, faster, arrived behind us at the top and we returned together... depends on individuals
