Today from Kamniška Bistrica to Kamnik Saddle. The path is dry. At 13:00 the fog at the top cleared. It was beautiful.

Towards Macesnovec (between Pastirci and Repov kot).

A girl and a boy who were today at K. saddle with a very friendly dog (border collie) left behind a blue foldable dog water bowl.
They left the saddle around 12:20.
I took the bowl to the valley; it is in Kamniška Bistrica at the inn Pri Jurju, with boss Boža.

Today cycling glasses of the brand Siroko got lost... They were lost somewhere on the road from Jermanca towards Kamniška Bistrica... if someone found them and wants to return them velik nasmeh

I finished the month with a nice hike in perfect weather. Not even the newly ?? installed round sign by the road could spoil my mood. tongue

It's neither torn up nor icy, anyone who doesn't believe can walk on it. big

Ice starts in 10 min, snow 5 min before Pastirci. Up to there the path is dry 98%. Early morning needs a bit more caution crossing two icy patches hard as concrete. At Pastirci I put on crampons, which help a lot further on. Hut was open, they offer only drinks. Not much wind, so I happily photographed at the saddle. smile

Larger part of Logarska dolina in shade even at midday.

Krofička, only the summit of Rjavčkega vrha in the sun.

The north side of Velika planina is mostly under snow

Kalška gora and Kokrško sedlo with Jermanca.

Small but important correction: picture 14 shows Mrzli dol (glacial cirque above Praga), not Zg. Okrešelj - the latter reaches only to Praga, the passage between both cirques. Regards.

Could also be Koroška, or Velika, as it has several names. Mrzla gora is to the right of the picture and you can't see it here at all. (see my fifth picture above)

okay, I'm just for consistency and that counts. This way everyone will know what it's about and there won't be unnecessary confusion. Good luck in the mountains. And I'm adding an "equipped" map for a better idea. I've been wandering these hills for 50+ years and the names are familiar to me.

Some of today's impressions from the path to Kamnik Saddle. Snow starts at Pastirji, up to there some ice on the path. Views wonderful. Few hikers, despite changeable weather.

Yesterday I headed again to this popular excursion point. Road to Jermanca nice, surprisingly in this extra nice day at parking lot only three cars. Since I was a bit late, there was no more real morning freshness. In complete calm a handful of hikers warmed up in front of the hut, I aired the winter room in between. On return I refresh and refill water at the spring under the collapsing bivouac at Pastirci. No snow on the path anymore, neighbors Brana and Planjava reachable only with winter gear.
