With my daughter we went to test new boots and today was perfect for that. Already the start in light sprinkling and relatively high temperature. No traffic signs, cars, people... Short stop at Pastirci, where we stepped on the snow for the first time. Too bad no one cares for the bivouac, now the spruce pole has slid to the ground, which will speed up the destruction of the bivouac. Years ago I mentioned to Simon, he said they have to put it in the annual plan...
Above Kamrca there is snow for some time, it is packed and one can walk on it without aids. Due to bad weather we didn't go even beyond the edge, on the return we could slide down nicely. All gullies full of water, boots performed excellently for both.

20.6 Rinka Waterfall-Brana, right below the wall one snow patch where need to watch out, from there to top mostly clear. All doable without winter gear. Otherwise stones fly down badly so better take helmet up .

I was alone at the Saddle over the weekend; snow patch still too big to bypass safely without winter gear. Good luck!

20.6.2021 - Towards Brana I had to cross 2x 15m snow patches right at the start. On Sunday could cross here completely without problem even without winter gear. But need to judge yourself once up there. Had ice axe with me but didn't need it from Ks to Brana. Snow patch has shrunk a lot, much less extensive than that pic above and probably won't last long with temps.

The path to Kamnik Saddle is dry from the Kamnik direction and from Logar Valley, winter gear no longer needed.

It's been quite a while since I was up there, today was time for a visit. Road to Jermanca smooth as a mirror, trail to saddle even more so. Morning freshness was real balm again. Even fewer people than the day before yesterday at Kališče, but beyond the edge it was really tempting, so I wolfed down the sandwich on the bench in front of the hut. I was glad to see the lift at Okrešelj - maybe it will really open next year.
Hut open until second weekend in October, on nice weekends later too. Tea has moderate price (1.5€), stove not lit yet
Spring under Pastirci dried up, really no snow left
