We went from Krma. Above 2200m there are still snow fields which don't hinder ascent, but are very useful for glissading on descent.

Yesterday to Kredarica via bivouac under Luknja, over Plemenice to visit Žakelj, then via Kugy's ledge to glacier and on to Kredarica.
Down to valley under Rž past Stanič hut to valley behind Cmír.
Path all the way without problems and no crowds, unlike ascent to Triglav. Lp

17.8.2013 Path from Krma bp. Took my friend, so we arrived up there around 12.30 at a leisurely yet sporty pace. Didn't seem too hot to me, just got used to temps from Asia and those extremes previous weeks. Car to the end, to barrier. Good luck all.

Since Irena got offer yesterday for climbing Short German, I decided to go around. First to Luknja, over Plemenice then due to fog and wind instead of summit via Kugy's ledge to Kredarica. Got message when they'd top out route, went to wait at edge with coffee and pastry.
Then together via Prag down to Vrata. Lp

After strenuous climbing one lies down...

I haven't been to Kredarica yet and can't find info on the net (I know it's somewhere because I've read something). I'm interested in the hut's supplies, if you can get drinks, or some tea at this time and in winter, or do you have to bring everything yourself.

There are weather observers up there all the time, so you'll always get something to eat and drink..

Swiss is right, finally it has started. Today from about 1900m onwards it was a real winter tour, in places quite icy, two turned back because no crampons. Some got up without them. Later it softened a lot (not in shade).

As predecessor wrote, conditions fully wintry, but sun softened snow for nice walk without crampons. Even to top (crampons, ice axe) good per reports.
Back via winter variant pathless under Rž and then hunting path past old hunting hut to valley.
Interesting we met three snakes under Rž catching last rays on snow. Lp
