We also have a dog that always accompanies us on family hikes. And precisely because of the free-running village mutts we avoid paths through villages like Janče and similar paths, because we always have trouble. So ...It wasn't really nice when a 50kg dog wanted to attack our 10kg dog, kids aged 6 and 8 were crying that it would kill him. Luckily it ended well.

Smart ones carry that with them, stupid ones have unleashed and aggressive dogs. And exactly those get it up their nose normally, because the poor little kid can't terrorize people around anymore - like taking away his toy.
The owner is actually the most dangerous, so it's worth carrying that thing more for him than for the dog itself. Dog owners have barked at me more often than dogs.
I'm mostly a fan of myself but if anything, then say in the most notorious topic on this portal currently, I'd rather be a fan of someone who thinks soberly about the topic content, maybe a bit different, here and there exaggerates a bit and has maybe some flaw.
Rather than a fan of someone who in that same topic (and mostly on the portal) can't do more than insults and provocations and therefore ended up on the podium for winners. Might even take first place, but ladies have priority!
