Conditions below walls, let alone in couloirs, won't be safe for some time due to abundance of windpack, dude.

I assume there's still quite a bit of snow on that part of the path. Last year we went mid-June, and had to go over snow on three sections. Quite annoying, because it was soft and on two parts quite exposed. Given this year's snow amount, conditions are probably still wintery (since it's the north side). As far as I'm concerned I'd wait at least another month. Good luck

This morning I did the tour to Mala Mojstrovka. In the morning on the upper scree part snow was hard (crampons). In the middle part of Mala Mojstrovka path there are still three snow crossings - carefully (hard in morning) then ridge and steep. Views wonderful, quite windy. Nice greetings.

Hello,
does anyone know what the conditions are on the Hanza path to M. Mojstrovka, probably winter gear is still mandatory, if so I'm curious when conditions might be normal for a pure summer ascent?

For ascent to Vratca crampons and ice axe mandatory. And it'll be like that for quite a while. Higher up, no snow issues if not frozen anymore. Up to the top and down the ridge, which in fog is of course the best option.mežikanje

Today recon on M. Mojstrovka via Hanz. Super tour, the only one on the path cool
All scree fields from the north side still under snow. The bottom meter or two of the starting cable under snow; I went higher on the snow (ice axe handy) and "jumped over". The first few dozen meters all wet, streams flow between the pins, higher up dry. In between 2 or 3 small patches, which can be bypassed or crossed directly. At the exit from the secured path the whole scree field in snow (firmer snow).
Summit snow-free. Almost no visitors - around 9 a.m. there were 5 of us. For V. Mojstrovka apparently crampons still needed (mountaineer at the summit said).
Descent south: fairly summer conditions, only snow patches just below Vratca. Cross the upper one, avoid the lower one! A bridge 20-25 cm thick has formed from the eyebolt.

Below the entry to Hanz route on MM there's still a snow patch. When someone approaches, I advise them to be careful when following footprints - the gully edge extends deep below the trampled prints.

Otherwise the route itself is dry.
