Via Župačič route to the summit, fog all the way and very windy. Descended the preparatory route, both icy. Drove by car above Dovje. There it's real spring, if not summer already, up to Planica summit and along the ridge to Borovje. Some light snow up on the ridge, but no problem.

That's completely understandable - thanks anyway. I'm more interested in the real situation and description of conditions from someone who drove to the top - is the road dry, snowy, icy in the morning hours (like it was a good month ago)?

Today via Hanzova to Mala Mojstrovka, early start 5:40 from Vršič, the path is completely dry and without snow patches,

Maybe it's a coincidence, but I really like that this year the path markers have taken on repairing two very annoying sections of path over loose scree - first Prag, then this one. Commendable, such paths really rank among the least pleasant in the mountains.

Yesterday to M. Mojstrovka via Šitna Glava and upper part of Hanzova. Weather better than forecast, quite a few visitors, path pleasant. Back via Vratca to see renovated path section. Hats off, markacists did excellent job

Three hikers on Saturday to three peaks, first to Šitna glava. Weather super, views too to Slemenova špica, Špik, Škratica...Junction to Hanzova path, first time this part, path nicely routed. On Mali Mojstrovka clear for a while, then clouded, nice views to Jalovec and Mangart. Then to Velika Mojstrovka, looks tougher at first, but went great with our experienced leader...thanks. Summit views, snacks, rest and back to Grebenc. Find easiest path, thanks markacists for new cables easing to Vršič. Then scree descent and refresh at hut, meet two lads who did Hanzova to Prisojnik, bravo.
