Up there today.
Road to Sviščaki is icy but well gritted, so nicely drivable.
Not much snow to the top, but packed trail all the way. No views from Snežnik top today, but climbed Učka from Poklon later.
There was something to see there...

Yesterday from Sviščaki to Snežnik, quite windy on top. Nice weather, plenty of visitors

Really no one gone up these days? From afar Snežnik looks still quite white, webcam seems not bad. Very grateful for info on path and road to Sviščaki!

On Saturday 25.3.2017 we went from Leskova dolina towards the top... at the end of the road where the ascent starts snow starts too which in the morning when still cold is frozen.. but still sinks quite deep... in places almost a meter but no trouble if enough fitness ;-)... snow on path all the way to last ascent to top... due to lots of snow descent easier... recommend gaiters...
ca 200m after start from Leskova dolina the path or track splits into three and here keep left as not marked which is the right path... otherwise recommend...

Path to Snežnik from Sviščaki totally fine no snow to Sviščaki then only in few spots to turnaround from there to top path partly bare under summit still some snow patches but no crampons needed. Recommend waterproof boots and gaiters useful too. Hut open this weekend (1st and 2nd April)!

Yesterday from Sviščaki to Snežnik.
On path through forest individual snow patches no problems.
Higher on path through scrub snow present most of the way so waterproof footwear useful (maybe gaiters too).
Return on road where some snow patches found.

Hi. Maybe someone was up there last few days, is there any snow on the path and summit? Camera hasn't worked since 26.4...
