Just got home - no snow,
but wiiiiind and cold (in IB 1C Sviščaki 4C in the morning, on the summit below 0C with wind at least 60km/h, felt over 80km/h in gusts), average view.

For the weekend 3.-4. June the hut on Snežnik will be closed due to change of keepers. It will reopen on Saturday 10 June.

Today on Snežnik, nice weather, but very windy on top. No snow on the path, just a sample below the summit.

Today it was nice, sunny, a bit windy on top, but a great morning spent. Path without issues. Recommend apple strudel on top

Today there were real winter conditions.
Road to Sviščaki normally drivable with winter equipment, they plowed once during the morning.
On Sviščaki there was about 50 cm of snow in the morning, but it snowed all day.
With snowshoes I went somewhere to Pekel but it still sank almost to the knees. Towards the turning point there was about 80 cm, in some places more. I didn't see the summit today, from the turning point onwards there was fog.

Today on Snežnik. Snow one meter, wet. To the end of the road well packed, then to the hut quite a bit of sinking, but it was doable. At the hut -11C and windy. Road to Sviščaki super plowed.
Hut at the top OPEN, praise to the young caretakers.

During Christmas holidays from 23 to 25 December the Snežnik Hut will be closed, then from 26 December to 2 January open every day.

I was there yesterday and the path is ok. Snow circa 20,30cm. I recommend crampons, because on top pure ice.
