Yes. Zevs doesn't forecast much rain, which is believable since from Tuesday NE continental winds will strengthen more, generally quite dry but occasionally moist enough for some dry snow.

Yesterday was perfect for a trip to the mid-mountain region. We went up all three Golaks and
descended through wild untouched forests back to Predmeja. The view from the top was fantastic, you could see from Kum in the east to the end of the Dolomites in the west.

Yesterday my friend and I went for a short New Year's ramble to Mali Golak. It was cold but otherwise unique. The Alps were clear as day towards the sea more foggy. On the return we stopped at the hut, where friendly staff awaited us.

Bogdan, I'm curious up to where you drove with the car and which road you took. Today we planned to go to Golake, we drove from Cesta towards Lokavec and Predmeja, but the road was closed because they're doing some work. So we changed our goal.

Today we went to Mali Golak from Lokavec along the renovated path-macadam. We went for an afternoon walk. Starting point at Predmeja, first part of the path through the forest in snow then to the hut dry. Above the hut the southern snow starts. At the top real spring sun and lots of visitors who were basking. On return we stopped at the hut for super cream slices. It was a wonderful Sunday afternoon.

Did you go by car to Predmeja along that path?

Part of the road Lokavec Predmeja was buried by a landslide in autumn. Now part of the road is new, in the final phase, but officially not yet passable. If you run into police, you have to pay. Bypass to Predmeja is via Col.

Today for a change not on Little, but on Middle and Big Golak. It was official hike from Predmeja. We were with friends. It was a bit foggy about 25cm trodden snow and -2 degrees. Otherwise fairy tale with ivy.

Road Ajdovščina - Predmeja is open again!
Otherwise very nice trip: went from Predmeja to Little and Middle Golak then back to crossroads and also to Iztok's hut for good roast with cabbage.
Because of clear weather the view was really fantastic.
