Dprapr, why is there then a cross on Stol and Vajnež, Ljubeljska Baba, Truperjev poldnev, Košuta, Montaž, Brana, Mrzla gora, Ogradi, Kepa, Kamniti lovec and more. So it doesn't seem like I'm an opponent of crosses.
Viharnik, where they are already placed, they are placed for a specific purpose and let them stay. But placing them on every hill and thus provoking those who think differently is not the most reasonable.
And to erect some sign on someone else's property without the owner's knowledge is in no case understandable to me, even if as you say there is no legal basis for obtaining the necessary permit.

Viharnik... nicely remove the cross that you illegally erected yourself, because you're taking a right that's not given to you and never will be!! Neither by people's nor by God's will. If you don't understand this, go find professional help from experts to explain and heal you.
And one more thing, don't judge other people by your own image. We've never been and never will be equal, so don't smear and insult those who think differently.

Whatever is on top just beautifies it a bit so it's not just rock and stone. The cross doesn't bother me. For those to whom it means nothing, it's just "a piece of wood".
Similarly, carved stones and stone plaques with red stars that we find in forests and hills don't bother me, symbols of some bygone ideology. We all know NOB was mainly a fight for power and communist revolution and little liberation of Slovenia (Germans left because they had to as Allies defeated them, if not partisans could only have fucked them up).
Still those star stones don't bother me, let them be up there. Stanonik and his "fighters" can have their dog processions and ritual dances around them if it makes them happy.

Oh really some of you don't want or can't understand!!! It's not about different symbols of one kind or another! It's about the arbitrariness of some who take the right to erect "their imaginary symbols" on summits because they felt like it! A summit can bear some symbol for some reason. Not because someone just felt like putting something up….

The occupier was defeated due to the joint action of the opposing side, which included resistance movements, among them indeed the partisans. Just as you vividly put it for the partisans, you could say the same for every Allied country if it hadn't operated within organized forces.

Today we put a cross on the top of a two-thousander in the Julian Alps. I emphasize as a symbol. Didn't check the crew's faith or religious orientation.
Only he himself can remove it; on this summit it will never stand And we drank beer.
Oh and we went past the chapel if it helps anything.

Guys and girls, check out what the Austrians have on Kepa and below it, worth seeing, the path is nice but on top only Austrians at their cross, on the real top ravens, no Slovenians, unfortunately the nicest path at the start is unmarked, don't know who benefits from that.

If something has to stand on top, let it be a neutral symbol. And not a symbol that divides. Some of us like it best if on top is "just" the summit. We don't need junk.
All you who swear by new crosses on summits, remember vicar Aljaž. He bought the land on top of Triglav and didn't put up a cross. Think why he did that, and learn something from it.
For info, since it was mentioned that there's a cross on Ljubeljska Baba. They did put it up about five years ago, it lasted a year or two. Now it's been gone for a couple years. Let it stay that way.
