Which path does the night hike to Nanos take: steep - shorter or gentler - longer? Start, I assume, at Razdrtem?

Ascent to Nanos along steep path, descent along gentle one. Hike starts after lecture, in Nanos bar at Razdrtem, located at the bend right by the road, on the right side from Postojna direction.

Tomorrow, on Sunday, I plan to go to Nanos with 6-year-old daughter. Will the weather be ok so that it rewards us with views? Which path should we choose? I think there's a gentle one right from the highway. Zurnal forecast says sunny with few clouds, hribi.net forecast rain. What will the weather be?

Morning weather will still be ok, afternoon then rainy weather from Kvarner should visit us.
Choose the gentle path, which is not as long as "advertised" on signs (3.5h). Later I'll check if there's any snow up there.

I would choose the other option, the one from the hunting hut, past St. Hieronymus to Vojkovo hut. It's a very nice path, scenic, not too steep and just right for a 6-year-old child. I went on this path in September myself and met lots of young families. Only about the view tomorrow I don't know how it will be, because it will get cloudy. No bora is forecast though, which is a big plus, as it always blows here otherwise and for those not used to bora it can be very annoying and freezing too.

Today the ascent to Nanos was really super. We somehow solved the parking problem already. The locals of Podnanos had parked every little path that was cleared of snow. The problem was actually the snow drift on the road to the arranged parking lot.

You climbed Nanos from Razdrto not from Podnanos. Podnanos is another fifteen kilometers further... But still, nice idyll! Congratulations!

Today on Nanos it's autumn again...
To the antennas even in short sleeves, up there it was a bit drafty and more like winter.
By the way: rime ice and larger chunks of ice were flying nicely from the antennas, so it's worth paying attention when crossing under them, or avoid it.

Yesterday 22.12 I was at Plešje and at Vojkovo hut.
On the quick route there's no snow, the path is completely dry, just a bit damp. The long path has some snow in the forest and you need to watch out not to slip.
The bora nicely quickly carried low clouds from the interior towards the sea, otherwise a completely beautiful sunny wonderful day with blue sky and view far ahead.
There will be New Year's eve at the hut this year too and they still have some spots.. if interested hurry with registrations!

Today I wandered around there a bit. Paths nicely packed, no issues. To Lovška ok by car (prob harder without winter tires). Further no.
On way back met some from Koper with Kangoo (to Podraška hut) plowed into drift but didn't give up,... put chains on, dunno where they headed. Some fluorescent green fluid leaking too. Drifts hip high
Also if anyone's reading forum here and found brown wool hat from Lovška hut on along path, big thanks
