Maybe like this. Drive to Koprivno to Kumra. From there first day to Peca, do a loop trail. Overnight at PD Kumer. Then second day head to Olsevo. Or stay near Peca and go to Topica and Ojstro. Also Topla valley is close, anyway plenty of hikes around there. Check the map and decide according to your abilities. Have fun in Koroška.

Zerjav, Crna, Peca, Knipsovo sedlo, Kumer. Interesting and something special if you tackle this trail in the middle of the night when you shake hands for two days. One says early morning, the other anytime at night. This time I was with two friends. Night clear, towards the top it blew just enough to cool pleasantly. At the top without a windbreaker it wasn't possible. For the descent to Kumer we also protect ourselves with Gamas. On the way I tell stories from the days when I cleaned along and on the trail itself. I even know by heart the spot for every stuck mark. Otherwise it lights up right away when you touch it with the beam of the lit light. We arrived at Kumer with inserts from Rudi's falls. Once with Blaz we glued his finger. No obstacles on the trail. We decided to repeat K24 on this trail. Lp.

This afternoon on Peca. I had a bit less than half a day left and used it to conquer Peca. On the way I watched for obstacles on the path, removed some. At the top more than 40 people signed in the book. Otherwise nothing new on the path. Lp.

8.9.2012 Tomaž and I at 22h from Zerjav, through Crna and Pristava, towards Peca. The path led us past Mihev farm, cargo cableway path to Tomaž's hut. From there on the known path towards the home on Peca. Below the hut we already noticed light in the hut, later also music and laughter. Curiosity pulls us to take a look. Indeed in the hut there was a merry company, we quickly exchange a few words, some people ponder our doing. We get extra strength for the path to the top of Peca. Below the top we put on windbreakers. At the top we sign, pull Snickers from the pocket and eat it on the shorter descent. The night [was] nice and clear. We were most happy there was no dew on tall grass. Dew awaits us deep in the valley. Tomaž followed my pace up and down well, so the path to Kumr passed quickly for us, if we didn't have night stage to Olseva I'd say too fast. Lp. PS. The path overall serves its purpose well; the most delightful are the marks visible from afar, but unfortunately they are slowly disappearing??.

Today Romana and I strolled a bit on Peca. Weather wonderful, but definitely more visible than before my last visit. Quite a few hikers. They also drove the sheep to the valley. Winter is slowly approaching. Yes, have to get used to it. Lp.

This afternoon I went to sunny Peca from Jakobe parking. I tested the climbing path and must praise everything: from the route to execution and condition of protections. Exemplary! The via ferrata kit is very useful, as 95% of tricky sections are secured. Great for training use of SVK. Also passable for moderately dizzy [people]. Steepness moderate, plenty of steps and holds. If I had SVK, I'd climb freely, but didn't dare release the cable. But it's so short that just when you get into it, it's over (now I know how women sometimes feel ) Wall everywhere bare and dry, cables warm (afternoon ). Footpath slippery in places, especially around King Matjaž cave. Access road utter despair. Quite a few people, views solid (though "saturation" of the atmosphere already noticeable). Interesting view of fog-covered Kam.sedlo, while everything else near and far bathed in sun.

KUMER- PECA -CRNA Since we decided to cross the biggest Carinthian mountain challenge, the path led us in the afternoon across the mountain. In sunny weather we didn't "freeze", so we were quickly on the other side.

Because the Maribor-Dravograd road is completely closed at Šturmov jaruk, the trip to the starting point took a little longer - detour via Pohorje. So I start at Pod Peča near Mitnek. In the valley thick fog but as I was higher up the sun showed. Nicely colored larches along the path so many photos taken. From the hut onwards via difficult path I hadn't walked before, the path is muddy, no snow anywhere, cables and pegs in excellent condition. On the top quite windy but views reached into the distances. People still quite a lot. VIDEO-Peča via difficult path Regards! Tone

Kumer, Peča, Mihev, Crna. In a nice sunny afternoon, mentally and physically prepared we head to Peča summit. I know the path well so we paced our strength, our step went well. Sun shone on our backs, if only we could reduce the wind power. We didn't talk more than needed. In the middle slope part I notice markings gone, again someone caused use of hunters' paths and many will get lost on Peča. Past Knepsovo sedlo to summit wind didn't let up, so we hurried too. Competed with sunset too. On Peča summit everything fitted nicely. We signed in, sun went to sleep near Storzica. To hut down without crampons. Further with snowshoes, to road above Mihev. Here path kind of ends, now just gravel and asphalt awaits us, doesn't bother me, on such path I always rest eyes and legs. When we arrive at asphalt road, ditch gear and trot to Crna, run not fast. In Crna end our almost 23-hour hike on Koroških peaks.

On ski slope under Peča today no skier seen, only lifts buzzing. With skis went along ski slope up, few times into forest, on path or not. At top of ski slope already track to Knipsovo sedlo. On saddle partly windblown, elsewhere snow drifted. From sight looked like that also toward Kordeževa glava and other side to Končnikov vrh. Need to watch not to ski over rocks, I was not careful enough and that convinced me to turn at saddle right back. Of course another nice day.

Yesterday we decided for night hike across Peča. One car drove above Mihev, with other to Koprivna under Kumer farm. At start no moon help, so started hike with crampons. Wind present already at start. New snow cover thickening with gained height, above tree line moon appeared, with it snow drifts, so Stefan and I alternately broke trail fully. To Knipsovo sedlo snow cover thins, wind increases driving us to summit too. On other side descent to valley past hut completely different conditions and nicely trodden path.
