This time we chose Koprivna valley below Kumer farm as starting point. With altitude snow cover increased and traces of predecessors (probably JanezS) helped us a lot so no need to break new trail. Sank occasionally anyway, but no big deal, just glad there's snow.
Koprivna-Knipsovo sedlo-Kordeževa glava-Končnikov vrh-Koprivna.

Nice greeting. Tomorrow I plan to go to the summit, interested in conditions, road by car maybe icy, any new snow, need crampons maybe? Going direction past the hut on Peca. Thanks, lp

with my colleague we were on Peca on 1.1.2013, on the path past Dom na Peci. The road was very icy and we didn't even reach the parking lot, so we left the car at the first farm above Mežica, which meant a long way later.
On top very windy, don't forget a hood. Crampons, at least hiking ones, are recommended, as you'll reach the summit more easily; some places are very slippery, but the colleague went without.

Yesterday second time this year on Peca. On Saturday from Koprivna up below Končnikov vrh and over Knips to the top. Conditions distinctly wintry. Locally drifted snow up to the waist and strong northerly on top. This time straight from Mušenik up. Path dry to 1400 m, then snow gradually starts and from hut to Mala Peca quite snowy. On climbing path some small snow here and there but nothing dangerous. On descent from climbing part surprised by big herd of chamois, which kept me company with their bleats also on top, which wasn't windy this time, but view obscured by occasional low clouds.

I couldn't sleep but at least I was on the trail. Drove to Podpeča by car, only the moon shining on me, already before 5 I'm walking somewhere at the junction to the climbing path, sunrise surprises me. Windy at the top, so didn't stay long. Descended and then ascent to Uršlja gora.

Nice pics!! Peca summit awaits me too, planning it for at least 5 years. Desire is big but always too windy for paragliding!!
