On Sunday 29.3. we plan a hike to Peca. Interested what path we can expect given the current weather conditions. Do you recommend the hike since we are not professionally equipped hikers?

if no one has trodden it already,, then prepare well,, because snowdrifts will be over a meter in many places.

You predicted quite well. Yesterday I broke trail like mad on a path where no one has gone for a long time. Snow up to the waist. From hut to summit no special issues. But it's a privilege to pull the first trail to the top. Summit in sun and light wind, in the morning hurricane wind raged. From Karavle and from Mitnek the path is nicely trodden.

We were also there on Sunday.
It was super...slight thaw(trailbreaking)... but beautiful view from the top...

The road to Peca is normally passable to the upper parking lot.

Snow from the hut onwards at times quite a lot and sometimes sinks "to the balls! , so a few "male" words slipped out of my mouth. Gaiters recommended.

To the hut without issues you can even get there by bike. The protected path is also dry already so no issues.
