On Monday and Tuesday we did part of the transverse between Poštarski dom under Uršlja gora via Smrekovec, Komna, Travnik and Raduha to Robanov kot to gostišče Rogovilec, which is unfortunately closed. The path was mostly wet and slippery and muddy due to occasional rain. On the trail itself, there could be more path markers, especially at certain junctions where marking is insufficient. Yesterday Raduha showed nicely as we approached Loka, then just before the summit it wrapped in fog so we missed the views. The path from Grohata to Rogovilca is less used, in places very steep, yesterday also slippery, which additionally burdened our already tired legs, but we were no less happy at the end, where we were already eyeing the next parts of the transverse.

The path from Grohot over Durce no longer goes under the wall, but branches off near the wall over scree and winds through scree to the top of Durc. Yesterday they were also reinforcing the middle section of the path.

Nice that you inform us, but this path has existed since July last year. LP!

Wonderful pictures Oti, Raduha is wonderful, but a very sad picture shows up on Vodol pasture. Consequence of the shooting party of local hunters, who consider themselves nature lovers! According to some mountaineer, it banged like on the front, heard to the meadow, what was left behind them I have on the photo.

Yes, it is really nice! We also went to Raduha as a family. The sun was scorching, we met quite a few hikers, many foreigners, and the first impression on the top disturbed me... I packed it into my backpack, as well as the bottles on Studorski pass 14 days ago, since I can't imagine the look of the summit if each of us 50, 100 or more hikers threw a banana peel there, even though it decomposes over time. Why is it so hard for you to carry empty stuff down from the top, but you can carry full up? Where the donkey rolls, it leaves hair...

@ada and muhicka! Visit it also in October, when larches turn golden, no nicer autumn fairy tale. Good luck and best regards!

This time from Radušnik past Loka, to Durce and over Mala Raduha to the top. From Radušnik to parking under Loka marks faded and insufficient, renewal needed. At Loka they herd, they also have sour milk. To Durc lonely and all in flowers. Along the ridge of M. Raduha quite some bushwhacking through scrub. Raduha summit mass visited, mainly via path from Loka. Raduha is otherwise an excellent viewpoint, but today it was sadder, front coming.

Yesterday we went to Raduha. We started at Rogovilc. We climbed to Grohot and via climbing path to the top. We descended via Pl. Arte back to the start. Path nice, no special features except the climbing path, which was still wet yesterday and slippery. No views from the top.

On Sunday we traversed Raduha lengthwise and crosswise. Started at Bukovnik farm and then past the hut at Grohot via climbing path to the top. Climbing path harder than expected. From top we admired views for a while then descended to Planina Arta and also saw Snežna jama cave, worth visiting. When we reached the hut at Loka weather worsened, so quickly headed to Durci, then new path over scree to start. Didn't know about renovated path and positively surprised. LP

Yes, I have to go to Grohot sometime, I don't have a stamp there yet . I'm wondering how to get there or if it's far, e.g., if I go from Radušnik to Loka and then to Grohot

@Hribovc88 Better go from Vodole pasture, over Javorje pasture to Lanež and towards Durcam, from where you descend to Grohot and via secured path to Raduha top and back to Loka and Vodole. Car best leave before road barrier for livestock, so no cow damages it. Best regards!

@Hribovc88 You get to Vodole pasture by the road that leads to Snežna jama cave. Road starts in Struge by the Savinja river. Pasture is quite large and you can't miss it, it's right after the cattle barrier. Leave car before the barrier. Path crosses the pasture coming from Smrekovec leading to Loka and further. You'll find the path at the end of the pasture (looking from the road) near the forest. When you reach Javorje pasture turn slightly right and go across meadows towards Lanež. So no need to go to Loka. This path is exceptionally beautiful and scenic, like the path from Radušnik which we use more in winter. From Loka to Grohot by normal path is 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace. If anything is unclear send PM
