As otiv already wrote, we should write the names of our beautiful mountains with a capital letter already out of respect for them, not just for correct Slovenian. I would just add that also out of respect for our mother tongue, it would be good to make an effort and write at least approximately correctly, since we're not nitpicking, but how it's written and expressed here deserves all criticism. What would our now deceased Tone Pavček, great patriot and poet of the Slovenian language, say about this. The language of the youth is just one big spakedranščina that resembles nothing. If dialect gets mixed in too........ Let this debate end, which has nothing to do with Raduha except that it was written with a small letter. I know criticism won't improve anything, but still we who love the Slovenian language, our homeland including the mountains, have to express our opinion. Good luck to all and best regards.

It's really nice to see that correct writing of the mother tongue means something to most of us. On the other hand, I understand the youngsters who just can't help trying out the most innovative spakedranščina. Iztok Mlakar would say: "Boh jih zastopi ..." But we have to take with reserve and forgiveness someone older who would gladly share some story or feeling with us, but maybe doesn't find the right words ... Life isn't one-dimensional after all.

I'm happy, comma, that the level of writing here is rising, period

Basically I support respecting (at least basic) spelling rules also on forums. But I don't think it's wrong if someone writes a bit "home-style". All good as long as we understand it. Personally, what bothers me most is the lack of punctuation and excessive use of dialect expressions that the wider public doesn't understand.

@aonuk1 For Raduha you don't need to wait for current conditions, no fear of collapsing, if there's a bit of snow you'll make a snowman. Best regards, maybe see you tomorrow.

This peak is at the far NW end of the Raduha ridge. It is called Jelovec 1808m. Once you find the path to its summit (hunting trail) from the Vodol alpine pasture, then there is a followable trail along the entire Raduha ridge. A cross is erected on the summit. You have a nice view on both sides and the nicest from Lanež. Regards ps (while I was writing the response to the question of the first photo, it was already deleted)

K-24 brought us yesterday also to Raduha. We tackled the paths via slightly snow-covered Durce. Southern snow poses no obstacles. Southern side is dry and bare.

Greetings Primož! We exchanged a few words just below the summit. We continued to Lanež and down to the valley via Hojnikova path, you to the summit. This year I already met you on Jalovec, and today. Congrats on such two young mountaineers! Regards

Also yesterday with my father on Raduha from the Luče direction. More than I can say, it's an IDYLL for the SOUL PAST. Up there I'm at home, there is my world, there I can be ME. My essence and my dreams...

Panaromantik, I can tell you I've been to Raduha many times, the path is nicely marked, cleaned and clearly visible. Maybe you missed the marking somewhere and got lost! Next time more luck.

Phone 041/968-022, hut keeper 041/593-889 E-mail mrosenstein.rosenstein8@gmail.com
yesterday I was at their home and they haven't been up there for 14 days. Call before you set off and if they go up those days they will tell you. Road is plowed to the end of the asphalt and then to the hut cca. 1 hour or more. Whatever the weather is, every forecast for the next day is wrong. I saw snowmobiles they still have parked in the garage LP
