Probably a bigger problem to get from the hut to the summit if there are such precipitations as promised.

For the day after the forecasted snow it's not best to choose too exposed targets, so I chose Raduha.
From Rastk to the hut on Loki, which by the way is closed, there is hardly any snow. Same from Radušnik, so no problems.
From Loki onwards, the amount of snow increases quickly. Fresh snow, loose, soft, sinks over the knees, plus nasty drifts. By my humble estimate, more than 1/2 m on the path. Summit, as often, completely windblown.
But what, conditions will probably change a lot by tomorrow. That's just winter.
Otherwise until 15.00 "sunny", then it started to cloud over very quickly, but by then I was already down having a beer in Luče.

JanY, I was also on Sunday with friend on Raduha though I know, hut by the way closed. I have info, hut open from 29.12 to 02.01. I must praise your pics, really nice. And lots of pleasures in mountains, maybe we meet.

Sano, I called the keeper on Loki, but he's not up there now. He comes next week, he said it's drivable to Vodol. We (youth) have a hike tomorrow as every year and we'll drive there, onwards on foot. If you plan to go up, we'll see each other then.

Today on New Year's Eve I did a hike to Raduha. Starting point at Radušnik farm, parked quite a bit lower and continued on foot along the road as it was icy. Started very late so clouds overtook me, which covered the sky. Path to the top is trodden, even a bit slippery, so it is good to use crampons for a more comfortable descent. Met some hikers, hut at Loki open. Views so-so, to the south side excellent so quite a large part of Slovenia was visible. A bit of snow also fell for a short time.More pictures.

I was today on Raduha, start from Radušnik, to Loka, to the top and then over Durce back to Loka and to the car. Conditions super, no wind, warm, even sun shone most of the time. Met no one from 8 to 12.
