Yesterday to Ratitovec via Razor. Little snow, but just right for nice impressions. Trail without special features, small crampons might come in handy for some nasmeh

Today on a beautiful sunny day to Ratitovec. Up via Na Poden path. The path is completely dry. Crampons not needed.

Bunkers of the Rupnik line right below the summit.

From the summit one can see in all directions.

Ratitovec is also a pasture area. View from the summit to the frozen puddles for livestock watering.

Wednesday, 27 January 2016, sunny, dry, at 13h, 9 degrees Celsius at Krekova hut. About 30 visitors. Path from Prtovč village via Povdne to Ratitovec summit, Altemaver.

Today via Poden to Ratitovec to Krekova hut and to Gladki vrh. Return via Razor. Path nicely trodden, winter gear not needed, but more snow on Razor path, some small drifts, higher to summit snow mostly blown away. Hut open today. Weather changeable, partly sunny and cloudy, no wind, pleasant for season.

from here onwards the path to the summit is very picturesque...

Nicely captured motifs, Ratitovec always impresses. I like to extend to Altemaver, down circling past the mine and fairy tale complete.

Path over Razor snowy, but not icy. Towards summit snow, fog and wind. Winter as it should be.

Real winter, fog and wind with snowfall. Track gets covered right away. Flanks excellent...

Wintery with wind. Path over Razor passable without issues. Snow up to one meter, summit blown bare to the ground.

Does anyone know how the path from Zalega loga to Ratitovec is? Thanks zmeden

In the lower part it's dry (and probably quite muddy), from Povden saddle onwards it's snowy and there is avalanche danger. PD Železniki website says the path over Povden is closed, as always when there's lots of snow.

Safest is the path from Prtovča. It's trampled and normally passable.

On the other side under cable car large slab avalanches are already releasing. Good luck
