What do you need pristine nature for if you can't offer the guest anything. Which means you get nothing from it either, even though you have quite a few visitors. Once again, we have a huge amount of existing infrastructure that just needs tidying up and offering on the market. GregorC, sure but big difference whether you offer guest road to the top and pub on it or shelter in the valley, aids for nature visit, home food and drink, souvenirs and jacuzzi for me and of course guides, high mountains remain pristine mysterious and therefore so much more attractive (and luckily not accessible to everyone).
Don't know where this obsession comes from that everything must be done like Austrians or Swiss.

This morning conditions for ascent were excellent. Went from Prtovča on left variant (Ratitovec run trail and Ultra pušeljc trail which is this Saturday), continued past mine to Vratca and on to Kosmati vrh, descent to Klom, Jesenovec and by road to start.
No rain yet, not too hot...in short ideal.

On Saturday, 2.7. the road Železniki-Prtovč will be closed from 14:15 to 18:45 due to http://rally.omikronplus.si/ (info in the "spectators" tab!)
The road through Dašnjica to Podlonk will also be closed.

I've been up there several times these days, we were finishing the Ratitovec Circuit, so we went again via the nice variant from Soriska Planina.
