Absolutely, it's possible to get to Vrata also by car, especially at such an early hour. Then you definitely won't need to pay.

I think in main season they start charging right at 4...but if you go so early, 10min earlier won't make a difference

Otherwise, unlike various roads to Blato etc., the parking cost here is completely acceptable - 6 EUR. And if you leave the car for 3 days, no one will charge you 3x.

I hope no Czech reads this, otherwise their cars will camp on the parking lot the whole week, they in bivouacs . When I was a few days ago up by bike, half of all the cars on the parking lot had Czech plates.

The problem is with supervisors who allow such a situation. The same applies to bivouacs that foreigners exploit for gain and serve as apartments. Lately campervans appear at mountain trailheads where they weren't before and leave trash behind.

Where there's a small P sign on the pole. For Poldov Rovt you drive a couple of 100m further and you'll see it on the left.

From 15h to 19h again only bus traffic (tourism).
From 19h to 22h again only cars, in and out of the valley.
This traffic schedule applies say from 15.6. to 15.9., outside that time the road is normally passable for all vehicles, as it is now.

It would be enough if in summer it was open for all traffic from 5.00 to 8.00 and afternoon from 17.00 to 22.00. In between only public transport. This way no one in the valley or before it would be disturbed.
I think first it was said that in the morning traffic for all until parking spots in valley full. Then only public. Why now thinking about different parking fees?
And as far as I saw last time, the parking for Bivak II is quite far aside. Only there at the junction Za Cmirom, if I'm not mistaken?
