I really don't get it, what you're waiting for... ice axe, crampons, helmet in backpack and go! Everyone knows their own limits!

Better go past the new bivouac, so starting point: Kamniška Bistrica - Cojzova hut - Štruca.

I'm also interested in the current snow conditions. Up to Cojzova hut from Suhadolnik I know there's no snow. How further?

Went to Štruca on Sunday, didn't push to Skuta due to lack of time (sad, I know ), conditions are so-so. Up to Cojzova everything spring-like, but past the small gates conditions turn fully back to winter. Winter gear is clearly still mandatory, the exposed part between Cojzova and bivouac is especially icy in the morning, on the final ascent to the ridge between Štruca and Dolgi Hrbet despite south-facing there's quite a bit of frozen snow in places. On the big slopes 20-100cm snow that got pretty wet in the afternoon, on top of Štruca also some (cca. 15cm) fresh snow, so gaiters highly recommended. Sometimes sank up to my ass . And since snow is melting and rocks not too stable, helmet on between Dolgi Hrbet and Štruca. Weather otherwise fluctuated between cloudiness with occasional snowing in the morning and sun afternoon, so expect even softer snow in clearer weather than I had. No wind luckily. Great trip though...

Started early in the morning at Suhadolnik. Path to M. vratci ok, then to bivouac crossing one or two short snow/ice patches. With a bit of caution ok. From bivouac onwards still quite some snow, need to watch out because steps are drifted over with snow - 3 times step on hard, fourth sinks in !? Towards Dolgi Hrbet winter gear mandatory. On the ridge then some snow, ice, rocks, etc., but it went . Weather on summit fantastic, views too. Descent again with lots of caution, snow softens nicely by 12. Didn't see, hear or meet any hikers the whole way. Nice trip, recommend it.

I suggest you go check how much snow there is. If it seems too much to you, you can turn back in time.

and you were from the Logarska side hmm nice. Was it worth hiking, soft snow? or frozen?

yes, I traversed from east to west (Skuta - Dolgi hrbet - Grintovec). In the lower, steepest part, snow was hard and frozen, higher up it sank quite a bit, so I looked for passages over bare rocks and ridges.
