Then you really started still at night, even with me it wasn't fully light yet, it started dawning at Taška, so no problem going on that path. I like early risings, so I'm always at the starting point at dawn, whether it's Vrata or Kamniška Bistrica.

On the same day I went the same path, but to Grintavec. Very dense fog caused me huge problems right on that big snowfield where the previous one turned back. I was lucky and found the path on the right side of the snowfield at the top Too bad there was no view as it was my first time on Grintovec

Maybe on Friday 9.7. to Grintovec or to Kranjska Rinka at 5.00 from parking lot by freight cable car to Kokrsko sedlo
if the whole day is nice without afternoon ones.....

Hi,
On Saturday with girlfriend planning to go from Kranjska koča na Ledinah to Koroška rinka, then to Skuta and to Kamniško sedlo. Maybe you know what the path from Skuta to Kamniška koča is like?

Go via Turska, over Kotliči and under Brana to Kamniško sedlo. Path dry except one snow remnant in corner under Brana. On Sunday no problem to kick steps in it. Total max 10 steps. Kotliči crumbly stuff, need to be careful.

One small patch (snow) under Dolgi hrbet and that one probably south-facing if warm then helmets on head cuz chamois walk ridge Dolgega hrbta and rocks fly down

On Saturday from the cable car via Slovenska to Ledine and over Rinke to Skuta. Thanks to the cloud for the pleasant hike which mostly covered the sun at least until 12h. From Skuta we descended via V podov past bivouac P. Kemperl to Cojzova koča. Except for two softened snow patches, which you cross without danger, there are no noteworthy changes on the path; all protections are ok. On Sunday then mostly in the shade to Kočna and via Kremžarjeva to Češka koča for a deserved Radler. Also here you have to try hard (off path) to find some snow on Zg podi for easier descent.

Today I chose Ravensko Kočna as starting point, park the car right when the forest starts and go towards Češka koča, on the way overtake 16 hikers, two arrived just before me from Češka koča, immediately start further towards entrance to the wall, cross snowfield, meanwhile check out what awaits me, went over long ridge to Skuta from Skuta then towards Rinke, but on ridge around Rinke got a bit lost, well yeah had map with me, and crazy wind and fog return towards Turski žleb, hike it, climb it (helmet and good boots mandatory) and descend towards Logarska dolina, the path through gully itself passable no problem but very dangerous and steep, when reach scree cross scree off-trail finally reach marked path and climb towards Savinjsko sedlo from there towards Ledine and last challenge awaits me, which is tough via Slovenska to valley. Better should start through Ledine to top of Skuta. From Skuta towards Turski žleb climbed back some time ago, protection but little compared to ridge.
This was today BOMBA, when you really enjoy mountains, only there and back something extremely serious to climb.
