Sea, Alps, Istria, Snežnik ... all this and more can be seen from Slavnik. By bike from Kozina to Slavnik and descent to Podgorje.

I was there on Saturday 21.02. and there were a couple of snow patches towards the top... the rest of the path was clear

After about two years we went back to Slavnik today, today for a change from Podkraj. Parking lot was so full that we thought there was some traditional hike. Well then we realized it's the usual Sunday scene. Although it was a bit windy, we were enthusiastic about the path and decided to explore the surroundings in the future (Kojnik and similar paths).

Ciklama wrote that she would explore Kojnik. So many times I've looked at it from Slavnik that I just decided and hiked it 2x within three days - from Podgorje and from Zazid. It's beautiful, besides from Kojnik there's the best view on Slavnik, only from here you see what our Slavnik is like. If Slavnik is too strenuous for someone, Kojnik is much easier.

Today I was on Slavnik for the first time. In the morning (at 7.30) two guys from Dolenjska started from Podgorje. Steep up, gentle down. The wind already at the start showed it would demonstrate its power at the top. Since neither of us has excessive weight, we both could, right at the top, at least partly feel how Peter Prevc and colleagues feel. Without trouble we leaned on the air cushion!["nasmeh"]("/slike/smile.gif">.)

On Saturday there was some snow in the upper part, nothing special. I went from Podgorje, like hundreds of others. Really crowded trail.

On the hiking trail I found a time of 4h 40. Distance 13.6 km.
