... Dom Pristava reopened every day - it says in Jesenice news. New caretakers are Stanka Trifoni and Drago Baloh. Stanislava is full of positive energy, you quickly catch laughter from her. Also very creative. Picture on the wall is surely her work. She used to go to creativity, now no time, pity

The caretakers are really very hospitable and relaxed and natural, service with moderate and good prices. I hope the new Dom Pristava in Gornjesavska dolina above Jesenice will come alive similarly to Valvazorjev dom under Stol. So in winter with ski tours to Struško, Korenščica, Golica, Ptičji vrh, Sečo, Zijalke or just to the scenic Španov vrh and in summer also with MTB, Dom Pristava will be a pleasant end to every tour.

The forecast wasn't, who knows how promising, but we decided anyway to head to Struško-planina SVEČICA. Path to Križevci was satisfactory, the rest almost "mission impossible", but we overcame that too. Everyone photographed on their own, since all predecessors have already shown this viewed beauty of freshly blooming gentians, primroses, pansies and etc. to the wider circle of mountain lovers. On behalf of the small group, heartfelt thanks. Truly unforgettable! LP

...Struška beckons... a fairy-tale carpet of mountain flowers awaits you. This time from Trilobit, past planina Seča and old border path to the top. Nice path, a bit steep but nicely passable. Views and pleasure perfect too. Don't miss it, beautiful up there on Veliki vrh Back over Mavre and Rovte to the car

By car I drove another approx. 1 km along road toward Križevec, then on foot along road to junction below Križevec. There right then along markers to Pusti Rovt, at Pustem Rovtu right again straight through forest to road cutting slope to shepherd hut. Snowshoes would have been very useful; above PR sinking knee-deep, higher on road less as more trodden. Below hut looked for start of "tastare" path but no traces so back by road. Hope answer not too late. Good luck
