The track is already a proper path. Walked, skied, snowshoed and very nice. I went for a change from Planina pod Golico. To Markljev rovta without snowshoes, since there's a prepared sled track on the road. More

Today visited the whole world of keyflowers,
for us one of the nicer mountain tales.
At the sight of blooming white fields,
already singing: Good mood is the best.... nasmeh

... Trilobit - Struška...
The path through the forest to planina Seča is nice. Fallen trees are no obstacle. Through the scrub on sunny stretches of the path there are lots of primroses, and gentians. But a very cold wind was blowing. At the top it's the usual winter. At the container there are already some flowers. Then on the slope almost to the hut nothing, cold enough to shiver. In the gully there's still lots of snow. It needs to be crossed several times, caution is advised. Before the hut and around it everything is blooming. But there are fewer than last year. Maybe next weekend more flowers. Otiv, glad I met you both. Good that I have Ira. Back to the valley over Mavre and rovte to the car. Already at Belska planina it was dark over Struška, when I got home it was raining. Yes, worth getting up early nasmeh

- Pasque flowers have also adorned the rock

- Little roses blooming along the old border path

In today's morning chill,
with traces of happiness on our faces,
we walked among precious flowers,
Golica and Struska beauties.
Wherever one looked,
some mountain flower was spotted.
In short, it was nice,
let this be a greeting to Majda and Ira. nasmeh

The view is excellent, just a pity it can't be seen through the clouds.

These are already looking forward to the sun

It's getting more colorful on the pasture, currently still from flowers, in about a month though...

Svišč greatly missed the sun, just like us

Today to Struska(Barentaler Kotschna)-1944m. It is a blunt mountain between saddles Kočna(Kotschnasattel-1469m and Seča(Medvedjak-Barensattel-1698m). Its ridge runs northwest-southeast. Extensive southern slopes are covered with grasses, above which smaller rock towers and horns rise as well as numerous patches of dense dwarf pines, which lower turn into forest. Northern side unlike gentle our Slovenian side is quite steep, with rugged broken wall and long screes overgrown with dwarf pines. Struska consists of several individual peaks Korenščica-1765m, Veliki vrh-1944m -highest peak of the ridge and Zijalka-1875m. On their southern slopes we have three pastures-Pusti rovt-1296m, Belska planina or Svečica pasture-1703m and Seča pasture-1698. No marked path leads up.

I started from Dom Pristava across the pasture behind the house and when pasture ends on cart track to meadows, across which one reaches nice macadam road and along the road past Pusti rovt pasture, where they graze in summer. Pasture has only shepherd hut. After pasture at sign for Golica to the right, where sign for Struska. Soon on vast pastures-here is Kočna saddle. On left slope narcissus meadows appear. Above narcissus ridge path to highest ridge peak-Veliki vrh. Most of ridge path runs on border by boundary stones and old border trail. Trail crosses Korenščica peak, descends to small saddle, then to small hollow where snow starts, then up snowy slope to top. On top logbook for stamps, no stamp. Beside container-antennas look radio. Down long snow tongue almost to Svečica pasture where beautiful shepherd hut. From pasture mountain road back to Pusti rovt pasture-road only for shepherds.

Past a nice weekend cottage to the road.

Above the saddle, go left to the ridge path. Daffodils are below the path.

Veliki vrh - the highest peak of Struška - is already visible.

View from the top to the snow-covered peaks.

Down this snow tongue to the Svečica pasture.

Beautiful alpine scenery on the Svečica pasture.

Her flower buds of ture - beautiful long-flowering gentian.

Common mastnica - seen for the first time.

The flowering season has long passed, this summer was exceptionally wet, the splendor of golden yellow shades now gets white appearance these days. Combined with blue sky it can be very attractive mežikanje

Unexpectedly I set off to Belska planina only yesterday afternoon because views from valley promised nice experience. Road to Križovec is drivable from Javorniški rovt, not from Planina pod Golico direction. How it really was is on the link

Snow about 20cm. Up to that steep gully there are many tracks, then locally blown over, higher completely gone. I had no gaiters even, but frozen trouser legs because of that nasmeh
