Up to Križevci, from the sign towards Križevci there's a bit of ice and snow, but no big deal, further to Pusti rovta for example I wouldn't go

How is it at the very top of Struška? Is it walkable somehow like to Belska - sinking in...? Are crampons needed?

Yes, here it's a blooming fairy tale. When we were approaching Belska planina, you two with the dog were already returning to the valley. My husband and I "took" our hiker friends to Belska planina and to the top of Struška, which unlike Golica was completely unknown to them. All were enthusiastic and enchanted, as they haven't seen such natural rock face before. On Veliki vrh very few people, while columns of hikers were ascending Golica. It's really nice here and we'll return!

Great, really on Belska planina it's a completely different world than on Golica, I posted photos under Golica topic, as I wanted to show the difference of these two peaks.
However on the very top of Struška there's still no flowers, we find a lot from Medji dol direction and towards Struška top.
Yeah, and snakes live on Struška.

...It's nice on this mountain pasture. And a good feature is that flowers open higher and higher and it takes quite a while until they're gone. Yesterday we met a lot of people, I don't remember ever so many. On the old border path from M. D. probably not much flowers yet, since there aren't on the top either. But this path is very pleasant to me, solitary, peace all the way. Snakes are part of nature and like sun, just like us. Haven't seen them on the top yet, but on G. path already...

Is the path from križavcev onwards towards Belska pl. and further to Veliki vrh-Struški marked in any way?

... The path is well marked, signposts at all junctions to Belska planina. Further towards V.vrh there are none.

Majdag, yesterday you got me to Kraljevska Špica... Monte Re.. tomorrow maybe also to Struska just a bit worried from Belska pl. onwards... can you see the summit already from that planina??

No worries, except if there's fog I advise against it. From the hut upwards the paths are nicely visible. Or if you go from the water intake a bit above the hut straight up, on a quite wide path. When it disappears a bit look around, and you'll find it again. You come out right at the stone on V. vrh.

Majdag - your nice photos got me to Struska today. Weather wonderful, hikers were quite crowded. Not sure if I took the right path: first through the valley among the bushes, then right and at one cairn partly up snow, then a bit more right and I was up. On descent I ran into a big snake - don't know which one it was.

Janez surely you went right, since you were at the top. I know the modras has a rosette on its head, someone will tell you which one. Good you didn't step on it...

I was also today on Struska. Found the path without problems. Some hikers, can't talk about crowds. Only the wind bothered a bit, which was persistent. Views so-so... flowers incredible, worth going to see. Majdag thanks for your pics and encouragement

I was told that usually to the summit one goes left (west) of that snowfield. My modras was under the snowfield, in the bushes.

There are several paths, even trodden from Živina, important is not to get into the bushes.
