Thank you kindly! nasmeh First friendly reply. And this one is the most important for me (besides the other !reasonable! and sensible ones). Best regards, Z.

Really a very apt sentence, but just that we want from all dog owners: dog on a leash, because of people, animals, also other dogs, picking up poop, and trying to understand also non-dog owners who for whatever reasons don't have them, fear them or (think that there are few) don't like them.

Precisely because the laws are clear, I wonder at the whole debate. Dora reads them superficially, tries to fool us with them. Boss mentioned only in context. Read L.P. Jana. P.S. That no one wants anything from anyone is not quite true. If a dog in the park (yesterday on Rožnik) sniffs and follows you, it is not quite pleasant, owner says nothing wrong, it is trained. Ruined walk. Because of whom? Dog owner.

Hey mountaineers. You are record holders. 244 messages or comments about dogs? Something like that!? I looked a bit on dog forums,... you have to combine three or four topics together to find so many folks at once (I mean comments). Focus a bit on mountains. Girl went for a walk, took dog too... really nothing special. Miss, isn't it fun hiking in mountains? You wrote you were there for the first time, right, that's how I understood. Don't mind all these commenters. There are plenty like that everywhere. Good luck. Dušan

Now just this. Mr. Sašo, I inquired at the Hunting Association of Slovenia about whether a hunter can shoot my dog. They replied: "In no case may a dog be shot or otherwise put down. The law says so!" Next time please don't spread lies. Best regards.

You know what Dora doesn't say but still happens. That's what I want to tell you: if your dog chases and is kilometers away from you, you won't be able to prove who shot your dog. Especially if you don't find it. Inquire a bit when a beagle was recently shot (owner not hunter), which is a hunting dog chaser (that's his "job"), when chasing game. And as I already told you, dogs in no case may chase game, except hunting [dogs] on joint hunt! Get it into your head.

No, for the end also my answer. I too have a dog that hikes with me into the mountains. Probably due to the breed which is "cute" to everyone I probably haven't experienced bad reactions yet, but I keep the dog leashed in the mountains and we go at his pace, when he wants to rest, we rest. We choose days when there's no crowd in the mountains and we pick up the poop, although I've seen more poop from people in the mountains than from dogs. In short we've already walked the entire Slovenian mountain range and hills, except Triglav, he went only to Kredarica and no bad experiences. So dog owners, boldly into the mountains and don't let dog haters chase you away, because those kinds aren't bothered only by dogs, but also by people and since they can't vent on them they do on dog owners. Mountains are for everyone, for people and animals.

We didn't get anywhere, but you can see there's a big response to this topic, so I conclude that
dog visits to the mountains are also one of the problems,
in the past there were only avalanche dogs up there, today it's what is written here.
Best if dog poop lovers organize a hundred dogs on Triglav at the beginning of September, you'll be sure in the newspaper,
and all should be unleashed, and owners unleashed too, and mandatory in slippers all, dogs should have mountain boots so the pads don't suffer too much, hehehe

What a shame really a shame that most dog owners are like Dora. You can't tell her anything. She keeps her own. Probably has the dog raised like that too. Well it can't be different. That arrogant one, no one can do anything to her. Not even hunters. Let alone poor people who are afraid of dogs. Yes Tom you said it right, and dogs should have glasses too, owners should injure their eyes. Which breed is cute to everyone?zmeden

Tom, a person who thinks a living being is poop, is no person to me. But true, we are at least enthusiasts, you obviously aren't capable of it. Your "nice regards" at the end... Doesn't it seem a bit sarcastic to you? Additional proof of what kind of person you are, but obviously you don't mind showing yourself like that.
Sir who persistently writes without spaces after commas, for you this: you also keep your own, so don't accuse others of that and watch out that you don't end up alone in life if you insult everyone like this (or are you powerless otherwise and this forum is your refuge?).
Whose enthusiast I am is my business, don't you think? Definitely I have more love than you two together.
Regards (sincerely)

Hard for us. Dog has more rights in nature than human. Most seriously asking; have you ever taken as much time for children as for those pets? Lili

Guest who wrote Lp (sincerely) and who condemns me that I'm not a human and not capable of being a dog lover, and that I have sarcastic greeting etc etc.
I'll tell you something, for everyone to think about,
especially dog lovers and you who have so much love for all living beings.
Do you ever ask and think that those your puppies that you've started taking on walks to mountains and hills, that they live much nicer thanks to your love than half a billion hungry children in this world, yes half a billion I wrote, someone correct me if wrong, then you Guest up there lecture me....that I'm sarcastic towards dog poop, please stop.
I have a proposal, every government where dog poop has proliferated should introduce high tax on those puppies, the proceeds to a fund for hungry children worldwide.
and nice sincere regards
Tom

As long as the law doesn't forbid having a dog you have no reason to rebel here at all. Of course you have to follow the rules. I myself have neither children, unfortunately I can't have them, nor a dog, but I'm thinking of getting one, but I'm afraid that as a dog owner I'll be threatened wherever I appear with him - based on what's written above. Tom here's advice for you, if you have nothing else to do but pour out your hatred of "puppies" here: go to a big city, put a hat or cup on the ground and beg for money for hungry children. At least there'll be some benefit from you. Regards, L.

So that's your opinion?
Hmmm you have a strange opinion about half a billion hungry children in this world.

p.s.
I won't mention what you wrote, because I might offend you.

I don't have any strange opinion, just advising you how you can help since you mentioned it.... Life is what it is, for some paved with roses, some don't have for survival. It has always been like that and always will. But if you're up for some revolution about this then say, I'm right there. Regards, L.

BUY YOURSELF A PAIR OF DOGS, SO THAT WITH THEM YOU BECOME WHAT YOU THINK YOU SHOULD BE. GOOD LITTLE MOMMY THEN STRAIGHT TO THE MOUNTAINS WITH HIM, AND DON'T PUT HIM ON A LEASH, AND LEAVE THE SHIT TOO... THEN YOU'RE IN THE COMPANY OF POWERFUL BUT POOR. P.S. SAD OPINION OF A WOMAN WHO UNFORTUNATELY CAN'T HAVE CHILDREN.

We haven't just started taking dogs to the mountains, but we've been doing it for decades, obviously you've only just started hiking, dog shit decomposes in a few days, the sun dehydrates it in a few hours to half, especially if it's as hot as some claim, you can stand next to it and check, if you bag it, it lasts and lasts until the bag decomposes, it doesn't at all!
It's true that our dogs are well off, we spend money on them, you who don't have dogs, donate the surplus to the world. How many EUR do you allocate for helping others? Personally, despite dog costs, I spend quite a bit on donations every year, question if we're equal, some just yap, spend on cigarettes, booze etc.
And this has nothing to do with the first post. Thank "god" young people enjoy nature and animals, maybe there'll be more kindness in the world someday and less hungry. And one more thing - I NEVER wear sunglasses, some are so used to them they can't without even in normal light. The pupil loses ability to regulate light intake itself, so the eye gets damaged. Only on sunny ski slopes do I think wearing them is justified, or driving a car when blinding positions really leave no choice.

If you don't know where to put your money, you can adopt a child from afar; help him with schooling, clothes, food and don't chase anyone into begging in such an inhuman way. Lili
