If fitness no problem, every tour from Vrata one-day . Otherwise day1 Vrata-Luknja-Plemenice-Dolic overnight. Day2 Dolic-Planika-M.Triglav-Triglav descend Kredarica overnight. Day3 Kredarica-Staniceva hut-Rjavina-Staniceva hut over Prag to Vrata. Rjavina optional skip go Visoka Vrbanska spica or Begunjski vrh. Order weather, this year summer changeable .

Or via Luknja descend towards Zadnjice (Korita) and from there to Dolic, because Plemenice very demanding, return as Igor said.

What about a bit our own? For ex up below valley for Cmir, ascent Cmir overnight Stanicev dom, next day descend Pekel, ascent demanding to Rjavina, then descend to Planika sleep and last third day from Planika to daddy, descend Dolic then past Zakelj via Kugy polica to glacier over Prag to valley. All doable for non-pros too

@kucelj A long time ago I went across it, the cables were torn and the "marks" faded. Now it's supposedly better with both cables and signs, as Lojz (that's what I heard a few years ago, if not, sorry Lojz) fixed both a bit. The path is exposed, but not as baa baa as often written. Check the photos on the link below and you'll see how the polica looks. Good luck! http://en.hribi.net/hiking_trip/rudno_polje_triglav_via_kugyjeva_polica/1/1/1855

Kugy ledge itself is not so demanding, but full of scree, so you have to be very careful if someone is climbing below in the wall. There are only a few meters of cables. And please don't all rush there now, there is still only peace there, it's not exactly for everyone. The ascent through the valley behind Cmir is a bit for masochists, you have to be early, otherwise you overheat. Turbo forgot that you can also casually go to Vrbanove špice. After that Triglav is no longer so interesting. B.g.

@kucelj the most important on the ledge is to watch out, watch out very carefully, not to trigger rocks. Below, not the entire ledge, there are first-class climbing routes that are often visited. From Begunjski studenec (which has apparently dried up) to the entry to Kugy ledge, right of the path to Kredarica, there are quite a few nice two-thousanders, unmarked and not too hard to access. And from the exit of the ledge, above Plemenice, there are a few more peaks over two thousand meters. You can spend the whole day in solitude and this in July and August just a stone's throw from Kredarica Map in hand and unbelievably what all can be found "under" the obvious

This year we have the wish to go to Triglav again (probably once in August)... this time from Vrata. We would like to do a 3-day tour (2 nights) and then return to the same place from where we started. We are not exactly professionals, fitness will not be a problem. Last year we went via Rudno Polje - Planika - Triglav - Sedmera jezera - Komarča - Bohinj and it was great!!! Thanks for all advice and help! Lp

We were thinking in this direction... Vrata - Prag - Kredarica (possibly also Planika - overnight) - Triglav - Planika - Staničeva koča (overnight) - Prag - Vrata... Simply put, we would go for 3 days to simplify things and try to enjoy the mountain world as much as possible... Thanks for the opinions! Lp

From Stanič's home, the path behind Cmir is also interesting so you don't go the same way; it is quite visible and in some places marked with cairns. You return to the Vrata valley, some kilometer below the parking lot. Another option is to return via Tominšek's path.

@janezdolar, you asked the same question on 11.5. And what new do you want to know? You got answers, the most concrete one was given by Igor Z. From Vrata goes up Tominškova and over Prag, or to Luknja and either over Plamenice or over Dolič. Triglav huts, if I may call them that, are Kredarica, Planika and Dolič. Stanič is at least for me more for Rjavina, Cmir, Vrbanove, Begunjski vrh... Anyway, a two-day tour to Triglav is understandable, a three-day only to Triglav without some additional peak?!! If you enjoy crowds on the path, in the hut and on the summit, then go ahead!!!

internet problems... I thought the question from 11.5. was not saved on the forum... and no need to get upset without reason!!! Anyway, we don't need such opinions or answers as the all-knowing "Turbo" gives!!!

On 11.5. I gave a nice suggestion on how to spend three days on and around Triglav. And the others also gave some nice suggestions. Ah, turbo with lowercase.

@janezdolar ...we don't need answers like those the all-knowing "Turbo" gives!!! Why are you writing in plural, write "I don't need" , that way you'll nicely expose yourself and your impatience towards others who offer you solutions; finally, you can study the map-guide yourself, I myself two years ago planned a 3-day trip around TNP with Triglav. Best regards!

Come on, what are you two singing now, the guy just politely asked for an opinion, that's why we have this forum. I also think three days for Triglav is too much, but you know: "a hundred people, a hundred wonders". If someone likes to wander around there for three days or three weeks, it's his thing. Good luck

To me, even 1 day is still too much for Triglav . In three days, you have to comb all those mountains around Triglav, otherwise it's completely pointless

But some think about how from the other end of Slovenia we need up to three hours' drive, and if you drive that far, it's smart to use a bit more than just Triglav. That means Triglav Lakes, Velo Polje, numerous pastures ... Two years ago, when we were first in the TNP area, we chose three days, last year we did the ascent in one day, but we spent 5 hours total on driving. I just had a good tip, that if you're preparing a multi-day tour, it's best to dive into the literature and hiking map, and plan a trip around Triglav and to Triglav itself. It's doable!

@redbull Maybe it wouldn't hurt to think also that not everyone is 24 years old, yet we still go to the mountains. If you live to 2x or 3x as many years as you have now, you'll probably realize that such thinking isn't "completely pointless". I hope you'll also realize then that alpine ascents aren't for setting records, but for admiring the mountain nature and enjoying it. And best regards!

janez my opinion, just take it nice and slow, mountains are for enjoyment and relaxation, when returning you can casually hop to Visoka Vrbanova Špica, it's only half an hour from Staničev dom, views are beautiful, or Begunjski Vrh, also half hour from the hut, worth visiting both peaks....best if you don't make an exact plan, but go by weather and participants' condition....have a safe trip and lots of great experiences

I think it's better to make an exact plan, already for overnight stays and booking beds in huts. LP!
