@urbancek: is it important how many people went from valley up or from huts, you went as suited you, don't know why it matters how others went.. maybe someone can't do up and down in one day so slept over?.. fun of most on this forum is really only "non-intrusive" competition who was summit first.. important is to enjoy as you go, not rush up and down to write on forum how fast you are.. don't see sense in that, if others do, fine too

urbanček: I think with your opinion you don't belong in the mountains. You're too good and probably also handsome. Make way for mountaineers who enjoy the mountains.

@narim: just one question. Where does it say that fast people don't enjoy the mountains?

I publish a post, but get bombardment and insults without basis, without anyone really knowing how and what... Pure assumptions. And how can narim write that I don't enjoy the mountains? Well, probably got to know me and sandro exclusively and only through this post, and completely misunderstood. That you go humiliating people like this... I have no words and that's all from me for now.

Urbancek, don't stress. Some statement might upset you a bit, but I too know that I enjoy the mountains in every way. Even if alone on the path and very fast, or in a group where we adapt to the weakest. This trip was apparently really for the soul, somewhat faster, but still not for setting records, as you took time for photographing surroundings and enjoying the views.

urbancek, great photos, despite excellent time to the top, hehe. I too enjoy faster pace more than slower walking and multiple stops, etc. ... Even at fast pace you can really enjoy the hills and views! narim, if you know how to insult like that, you must admit everyone looks at the watch, what time they got to the goal. And if time is better, it feels a bit nice too, doesn't it?

Urbanček, reconcile yourself that on this forum there are some "holy grails" you mustn't mention (walking time, svk, non-mountaineers, ...). Some just don't understand that someone can enjoy fast walking and climbing too. And photography and sightseeing aren't deprived at all by that. As vesnapl already wrote above: "Urbancek, really nice pictures. Ignore others, keep enjoying!"

Incredible how us little Slovenians are frustrated Anyway urbanček mentioned walking time besides everything else and so what? Some can go faster, others can't. Don't know why such reactions, since with his post he didn't "attack" anyone. Don't know why so much irritation in some. Personally discussions about who is faster on some path and then arguing about minutes etc bother me. But not at all the fact that someone states walking time. Let's relax a bit and not attack posts right away that directly don't concern any individual. Lots of pleasures in mountains and best, roger

Urbanček...you really are one big self-loving idiot, who are you to call other triglav visitors "neplanince"your boasting about three hours to top only proves that you're not for anywhere else but to some quarry and there "laufaj" up and down.I walk a lot in hills and respect every visitor of our mountains don't boast with my time achievement..Don't know where the "keč" is that some so gladly boast on this forum about achieved results. And let it be clear to you that our mountains aren't meant only for such "mountaineers"as you!!!!!

I also think it's better not to boast about achieved time on the forum. Just as probably no one will write they needed 10 hours to Triglav, those who get there in 3 hours don't need to write it either, because it automatically puts the slower one in an unpleasant position. Let's keep each our time to ourselves, there will be much less bad feelings and ill temper. Isn't it more important that everyone knows for themselves how much they spent? That should be the real satisfaction. I think the hours on hribi.net are quite well written for the average mountaineer, the rest is unimportant from that viewpoint. Regards

I don't know why so much fuss about someone saying they needed only a few hours for the ascent to Triglav. We've seen all sorts of records around Triglav from various "circus" shows with a swing on the top to be higher than Aljažev tower, not to mention a hundred women on Triglav etc. etc. As for time records everyone will anyway with years come to the "non-mountaineers" category or otherwise every racehorse's race ends once.

He was fast as lightning . . . unlike the one who dragged like fog . . . after the secured part he zipped like a flash . . . from the top he bolted as if his heels were burning . . .

I don't know why this double standard, about which I wrote already at some other topic? A while ago many admired and "cheered" for someone breaking record on alpine traverse. Don't get me wrong, I admired him too. His strong will despite great efforts, despite injuries, to finish the project. And I believe he also admired mountain beauties and enjoyed every moment despite fast progress. But when someone posts they got to Triglav in three hours, then "bam" on him! What's the problem if he asks himself how many mountaineers would be on top if there were no huts?
