To Triglav?

The path from Kredarica is, as I described in more detail on gore-ljudje, the southern one with individual snow field sections. Over the Triglav Notch from Dolič even more difficult (tons of snow), so proper gear, focus and a secure step on snow are needed.

Hi
I'm interested in the following.
I'm planning to go to Triglav in a month
for 2 days
20. and 21. 06.
or 27. and 28. 06.
I've already been to Mangart (via Italiana), Grintavec, Kočna, Kroficki, Mali Mojstrovka (ferrata), Raduha, Ojstrica...
but not yet to Triglav.
I was last weekend with family in Vrata valley and Alježev dom.
To Triglav, 2 of my friends would also go.
Since it's in 30 days, which route to Triglav would you recommend?
Which route is the easiest?
And which the hardest?
Tominšek route and over Prag I hear are quite steep and hard.
Any snow fields there at that time?
(I have crampons and ice axe) but my friends don't.
Heard the route by Triglav Lakes is easy and very beautiful..
Think we could do it for first time.
If going that way, where best to start (and where to park car?)
Thanks

I found:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice take exit Lesce and follow road to Bled and onward to Bohinjska Bistrica. Continue to Lake Bohinj (Ribčev laz), there at intersection go straight on left (south) side of lake towards Ukanc and Savica waterfall. Follow this narrowing road to large parking at Koča Savica. Parking is paid.

how much to pay?

The easiest route is Ljubljana-Jesenice, village Mojstrana then past Kovinarska koča as far as the car goes, park there. Continue through Krma valley to Dom Planika. Overnight there. Second day morning head to the summit from Dom Planika to Mali Triglav and along the ridge to Triglav. Definitely the easiest route....

I think that in summer conditions the easiest path to Triglav is from Pokljuka past Vodnik hut (Velo polje) to Kredarica or Planika and then to the top. What the conditions will be like in a month, it's hard to say.

Personally for me the nicest path to the Triglav Lakes is from planina Blato...(Bohinj hills)

I wish you lots of enjoyment on your wanderings in our wonderful mountains.

The path from Triglav Lakes from planina Blato.. has a lot of walking to Triglav, right?
6-7 hours?

planina Blato-Dedno polje- to Kopica to Triglav 7-8 hours,
planina Blato over Triglav Lakes is another two hours longer around 9 hours or a bit more, but to Kopica really nice path fewer visitors. I walked it last year and liked it very much.

For me the easiest path to Triglav is from Trenta, mulatiera over Dolič to Morbegna, nothing difficult, just have to walk, also over Triglav Notch and on slab to top is much easier than path from Kredarica or both from Planika (M. Triglav - Gorjanska). Anyway today I chose somewhat different. From Zadnjica through Korita to Luknja, still nicely snowy, only here and there something falling down from Pihavec or western slopes of Triglav. Snow just right softened, so didn't even need crampons. From Luknja to below "Stene" ridge path is dry, below ridge some snowdrifts appear, best to go around because snow is packed and hard, or crampons and ice axe, well I needed ice axe, crampons waited in backpack. A bit worried about cornice or drift at exit from last gully and indeed had to use ice axe a bit to break it, but this year's much smaller than previous years. Since usually I traverse below here, put on crampons and went on nicely frozen snow (also new) to western Triglav ledges. From west pulling well, no special heat either, so quickly made it up towards Triglav Notch, snow hard frozen, without crampons no way, no footprints yet either, nor over Plemenice. Well above Notch dry almost to top, only right below summit when Aljaž already visible still some snow. If occasionally foggy before, cleared nicely at top. Wasn't long up there, so back down over notch, past Dolič on winter crossing and over Komar back to Zadnjica. Descent over Komar not best option for my battered knees, but mulatiera drags too, gullies dry, protections undamaged. But down in Zadnjica basin still huge snow from avalanche that will last till July, if not longer.

Beautiful, magnificent tour Triglavski, I should go to the top sometime too. As can be seen the upper ridge above notch is nicely passable, although the two approachers, when I was up, said it's even harder and snowier than from Kredarica.

Thanks to all, with various variants (along mulatiera, over Skok on old Kugy path to Plemenice) this is my usual approach to Triglav, they say time in mountains is not important, sadly not always so, in the evening I had night shift, so all together 7.30 hours.
Vrata and lower part of the path over Prag1

Yesterday, despite a bad start of the day with rain, the sun shone later; up there was quite some new snow. Wonderful day for a trip on our peaks.

This new snow will melt soon, only old will remain, of course not everywhere but certain areas definitely, and not excluded no more snowing. No month in year without snow on Triglav, I've experienced it in July and August up to 15 cm.
