Has anyone maybe tried this year to get through Tominškova pot or via Prag?

Apparently some foreigner, I think a Croat, but 100 meters above the valley there was an accident with a good end.

Huh, good thing... So is the path too damaged for relatively safe ascent?

There's a bad forecast on Saturday and I don't know why one would rush to the mountains then?!

It's the editor's business anyway, but still I'd remind that the title is "Forum-conditions", not a quiz where everyone asks all over when and where who goes or just announces grand tours about which almost never any report later. I today without advance notice just checked Triglav, conditions have not changed much, Zadnjica - Korita - Luknja - Plemenice - Triglav - Planika - Dolič - Zadnjica. Over Triglav Notch without crampons and ice axe no go, ridge from top to M. Triglav bare, to Planika lower part still snow, also around 70% of Planika - Dolič path still snow-covered. After yesterday's storms, today just right cool.

I suggest to the editor two new Forums namely: 1.) Forum I would go...... 2.) Forum Where would I go...... No hard feelings....

Triglavski is totally right. Let everyone report conditions from the mountain or ask about them if not posted yet, for mountaineer groups planning tour. Nonsense whatever comes to mind not appropriate, some order must be, no hard feelings. Lpp-Rok

Flags top left. Here we comment under Slovenian or in Slo language. Why rack our brains over what the hell "unatoč" means etc., if someone who does not master our language (or thinks it is not needed) comments on slo forum? So why Hribi.net in other languages? (I apologize to Slo participants because I am not present in this discussion, but...)

"I apologize to Slo participants because I am not present in this discussion..." Present? Did you mean present, involved...? Heinz in your place would question your Slovenian and that primitive nationalism doesn't belong in mountaineering! But it bothers me the reckless attempts of unprepared and uninformed "foreign citizens" who lately often blindly venture into exposed mountains, since then accidents are inevitable and they endanger not only themselves but also others. But is Heinz different because I checked the German flag?

Heinz, why in Slovenian huts is mushroom soup, stew, jota, ričet and pasulj offered??? Not beans?

Close this thread already, the forum should be for gathering information so someone can go to the mountains more prepared, not for chatting all day. For that there are other options - email, msn...

Please help. I need a description or info where to find it, the path to Vodnik hut from Blato mountain (since the path from Pokljuka is closed) as we want to go to Triglav. Thanks for the effort and help. Write in Slovenian, I'll manage. Regards. misi1

Mountain paths are described in every guide for Julian Alps and this one too. Roughly you have to drive to Pl.Blato this time, where behind the left wall, at the end of the parking lot. From here go right and in the forest not far away you find the cart track that goes to the edge of Pl.Krstenice, called Na Vrhu 1340m, from there across to Zg.Grintovica and further along the traverse to Vodnik hut. Even if you tackle the tour from Voje valley, you won't spend much more time.

Hi! Let me tell you. On Friday 19.6 I went with a buddy from Maribor to Triglav!! At 7 we started from Pokljuka and were around 4 at Krederica though we rested a lot!! There we refueled and went towards the top!! The master at Krederica told us to hurry because bad weather was approaching and it would be better if we returned to the valley the same day!! When I arrived back I was too tired and sunburnt to go down so I decided to sleep there and go down early in the morning!! When I woke up on Saturday I saw that Krederica was under snow! Crap! I had winter gear with me but no crampons, only an ice axe as the master said that the ice axe doesn't help without crampons!! Around eight I went down! It was crazy! Windy, snowing, bad visibility (10 meters max)! I didn't know the path because it was my first time, the buddy had been there before. Because of bad visibility I missed the path to the branch for Vodnik hut and went too far down (to Calvary) as they told us later!! We wandered for about an hour left and right looking for the way out but saw nothing. Then we decided to call mountain rescuers but there was bad signal and they barely heard us! We decided to go back on footprints but snow covered them quickly!! We had no idea where we were! I said let's go towards the top even though we saw nothing ahead! Luckily the rescuer understood that we got lost on the path from Krederica to Vodnik hut and they immediately started an action from Bohinj and from Krederica towards us! Thank God the master from Krederica found us, he is also a mountain rescuer and escorted us back to Krederica where we waited until the next day because the weather was better too!! They canceled the action so the rescuers didn't go far from Bohinj!! Thank God!! Oh and one more thing, at Krederica I ate better food than in any hotel!!

Janek: your behavior is stupid. If it were up to me you would honestly pay the rescuers.
